I really enjoy my Telesin Magnetic Master Grip Kit for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. It easily attaches magnetically to my existing protective case, and makes it much easier to hold when taking photos or videos. The grip has a place to put your thumb when holding the camera with the grip on, which also help align the grip to your phone. The handle appears to need the supplied adapter case, but I did not plan to use it any way. The controls feel firm and do not feel cheap. All in all the grip is very well made. You use the free ReefColor app to setup some of the grip functions. You are supposed to be able to update the grip firmware via the app but I have not yet had to do that. The grip comes with a tiny user manual that is written in several languages. That is fine, but it is so small as to be almost impossible to read. The website user manual is a web page, and one of the essential instructions (how to turn the grip on) is found later down the web page though the setup instructions earlier on the page assume you know how to turn the grip on and off. It took some searching to find this key piece of information. I wish the user manual that comes in the grip packaging which is well written was available online to download and keep for reference. That would make it possible to refer to those instructions when not on your laptop. It would also make it easier to study the grip's functions. As with any new piece of hardware it has a small learning curve but once you get use to what you see on your iPhone screen and where settings are (the ReefColor app has its own settings on your screen), the easier it becomes to use. I am definitely looking forward to using this, especially for video.

I saw a video on this grip and thought it would be pretty cool so I bought it for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. My wife and I had an upcoming trip to watch the sandhill crane migration and also some bird spotting afterwards. I thought it would be a great addition to my phone. I did not use the included case because I thought it was way too flimsy. Thankfully it attached just fine to the case that I did buy. Unfortunately the only feature that works on the version that I received is the shutter release button. That means I can take pics. It fall short on all of the other features that were shown on the video that I watched. It cannot zoom. You cannot change any of the features using the FN key. It cannot auto focus, which is generally not a problem with iPhone. However, it does not work. I have been in touch with their Tech Support, who although have sent recommendations on the zoom it is not nearly enough. I did download the ReefColor app, which did not indicate any firm ware updates are needed. I did see another review on here which discussed firmware and that they will be doing future updates. I’m going to return this product because I’m very disappointed after having such high hopes.

You have to follow the Amazon entry set up instructions to get the zoom feature going (delving into accessibility options) so it eventually worked perfectly as advertised. Worked with the standard Iphone app. BUT...... ONLY for around 45 minutes. After 45 minutes there was a slow, ready red blinking light on top of the unit. I charged it, tried every combination to factory re-set it, an hour of googling for a solution. Unit no longer connects or does anythng at all. No option at all but to return it.

Griff und Case sind erstklassig in Verarbeitung und Funktionalität! Bei meinem iPhone 17 pro, passt das Case exakt, kein Hakeln und keine Taste am iPhone wird blockiert. Das Case sitzt stramm - soll es auch! Ich wechsle ohnehin nicht ständig das Case. Der Griff ist deutlich besser als vergleichbare Produkte. Mir gefällt besonders die stufenlose Zoomfunktion. Der Akku ist ein nettes Gimmick, könnte aber etwas leistungsstärker sein. Trotzdem ein klares Plus gegenüber der Konkurrenz, die lächerlich schwache Akkus verbaut. Die Handschlaufe ist gut und kann wahlweise auch am Case angebracht werden, was ich getan habe, weil ich den Griff nicht ständig nutze. Unbedingt die Anleitung lesen, das erleichtert den Start! Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung!

Ich nutze den TELESIN Master Grip Kit mit meinem iPhone 17 Pro Max und bin insgesamt wirklich begeistert. Der Griff liegt sehr gut in der Hand, fühlt sich hochwertig an und verleiht dem Smartphone sofort das Gefühl, eine „echte“ Kamera zu sein. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass er auch ohne die mitgelieferte Hülle problemlos funktioniert – die Magnetverbindung sitzt trotzdem sicher und fest. Die Bedienung über Bluetooth klappt zuverlässig, und die Zoom-Wippe sowie die belegbaren Tasten sind im Alltag ein echter Mehrwert. Gerade für spontane Foto- oder Videosessions unterwegs ist das super. Für meine einfache Reisefotografie hat der Griff mittlerweile meine große Kamera ersetzt – leichter, kompakter und trotzdem mit erstaunlich guter Kontrolle. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft die Software: Hier wäre es schön, wenn es z. B. die Möglichkeit gäbe, nur in festen Zoomstufen zu arbeiten oder einige Funktionen etwas intuitiver zu gestalten. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Alles in allem ein durchdachtes, robustes Zubehör, das das Fotografieren mit dem iPhone spürbar aufwertet. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ihr Smartphone als Ersatz für die große Kamera auf Reisen nutzen möchten!
