This unit operates great. Unlike other brands, this humidity probe does not just peg out in high humidities. I use it in the 85 to 98% humidity range and it seems to stay accurate throughout. Most of the other brands peg out at 99.9% And just stop working. This one really does the job well. Granted. It's a little bit more expensive than others, but I think it's well worth it. If you're trying to control temperature and high humidity, this is the one to get. I only wish they had an option to get the temperature probe that comes with the 308s which is waterproof.

Although the directions appeared to be somewhat complex, the flowcharts were extremely helpful and made it relatively simple to program. The controller is rated for 1800 W, making it a great temperature controller for use with our oil-filled heaters that we've set up in our greenhouse. After several weeks of use, it has maintained the temperature reliably within a five degree range that we've set. We haven't used the humidity probe/control yet, but expect the same reliable performance.

I love this device to digitally control the humidity on my old fashioned dehumidifier. The hygrometer needs to be calibrated first, however, such as with a Boveda kit. Also, even when calibrated, it still has a margin of error of +-3% which I think is significant, so take this into account when programming the unit, which is easy. My dehumidifier runs at 505 watts, but has a very high motor starting current for the compressor, but this controller handles the demand fine. I don't use the thermometer & hygrometer at the same time on the same unit.

I wanted to give this unit like 2 stars because it was so confusing to use. I bought the unit to control 2 fans that would both pull warm air out of a room with a sky light that gets hot in the summer. I thought the humidity sensor would be an added bonus. I gave up on this thing multiple times and had it for months until I took the time to reach out to customer service for help through the Amazon messaging service. After numerous messages and the service rep helping me time and time again I found out that I needed to switch my humidity sensor for another thermometer to get both fans to turn on for temp control. Now both fans turn on when the room gets up to 90 degrees and they both turn off when the room gets below 80. Thank you for the help! Over all quality of the unit seems very good. Warning about the display, the T look like a lower case t but when curved almost look like an e with a slice out of it. This was confusing me when reading the manual. Customer service rep gave me the exact settings step by step to do what I wanted and it all worked. Save the day!

This product does exactly what I wanted it to do. I was using a rheostat for temperature control but found I needed more precision. My humidifier was on a timer and again, I needed more precision. This item addressed both. It includes remote sensors that appear to be robust and a long power cord that has a reasonable chance of eliminating an extra extension cord. Configuration was straightforward. The display is large, readable from a distance, and indicates both the environmentals and the work status of the attached devices. The housing has both mount points for hanging on the wall and rubber nonslip feet for resting on a flat surface.This is not the cheapest option but it seems to be the right option if you need temp and humidity control in a reasonably priced quality controller. Assuming I dont have any device failures in the near future I'll be very happy with this purchase.The only feature I would have liked to see is the ability to set the range between the target temp and trigger temp. It may even have this and I just haven't understood the instructions.Wish List: If there had been the same model with one or two "through" power ports I'd have bought that model just to eliminate the need for an additional power strip.For ex: Work 1, Work 2, 110v, 110vBut this is a would be nice and in no way detracts from what I bought.
