Helps me see down the road better at night without blinding oncoming drivers
I am a repeat customer of the Sylvania Silver Star High Performance halogen headlight bulbs for my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I have used these since my purchase of this jeep in 2008. I turned fifty that year, and the bulbs in the Jeep didn't help me see squat driving at night. The Firestone folks recommended the "SilverStar" bulbs as they called them then. And that transformed my night driving. It is ten years later plus a few months in change. I'm older, and these are still the best night driving bulbs for me. I don't change the bulbs myself - I get the Firestone guys to do it and I buy the bulbs from Amazon. Two more things: I recently changed the low beam bulbs , and my purchase records here on Amazon showed me the last time I did that for the Jeep was three years ago. That's pretty good. I always change both bulbs when one goes out to keep the light beams at the same intensity, and save the good bulb that gets replaced in that process as an emergency fix bulb going forward. The second and last thing here says much about these bulbs in our world of blinding halogens being used by many drivers now: I have never had anyone flash their lights at me at night to indicate I needed to lower my bright beams. These bulbs help you see further down the road but don't hurt oncoming drivers' eyes.

Better than oem.
Not as bright as I wanted, and more towards the soft white warm color instead of cool white color. They do suffice, better than factory bulb. Want an led look not your bulb, but if you want brighter bulb without people high beaming you this is it.

good oem replacement
There just as bright as new factory lights. Nothing special but they work great. And definitely worth replacing old bulbs you will see a big difference.

Can't hurt too replace old ones.
Whiter, brighter but not crazy bright. Simple plug in headlights on 2002 Grand Cherokee have one long screw on top, unscrew, remove and pry headlight assembly out. I used flat screwdriver and alternated back and forth. Get it loose and you can pull out. Twist bulb socket out and bulb held in by snap clip. Just pry clip away from bulb socket and it should pull out. Avoid touching new bulbs if possible oil on skin can decrease life of new bulbs. Also I have cleaned headlights with cordless drill 3m headlight cleaning kit. Worked pretty good.

Little Better then Stock
I purchased these to replace the stock bulbs in my motorhome that weren't anything to write home about. Well these produce a whiter light for sure but I'm not sure they immuminate much better then stock. That said, I don't drive the MH much at night (if I do it's because I screwed up) so they work for this purpose OK.
