My hands get cold very easily during my commute. Even when I wear gloves, they still feel chilly, especially in the morning and evening. So I bought these hand warmers to make winter a little more comfortable. I originally thought about buying them at a grocery store, but the price was quite high. Buying a whole box on Amazon turned out to be much more convenient and cost-effective. I just grab one whenever I need it. They’re very easy to use. For example, if I open one around 8 a.m., I don’t shake it or rub it. I simply take it out of the package and leave it on the table for about 10 minutes to activate. After that, it’s already noticeably warm. Once I put it in my pocket, especially in a more enclosed space, the warmth stays quite steady. In most cases, it still has residual warmth around 6 or 7 p.m. The heat isn’t harsh or burning—it’s more of a gentle, consistent warmth, which makes it comfortable to keep in a pocket or inside a coat. On especially cold days, I’ll open a second one, but most of the time, one pack easily lasts the whole day. Overall, these hand warmers are simple, reliable, and very practical. If you commute, spend a lot of time outdoors, or tend to have cold hands, they’re definitely useful to have during winter.

I've been using these for over a year in the cat shelter I put outside to house feral kitties. I just put a few of these warmers in a large boot sock and place it at the back of the insulated shelter - the cats love it! (I definitely recommend putting the warmers inside something like a thick sock or a mitten so that the cats don't lay directly on it or chew it. I haven't had any cats try to eat it, but, you know...cats do crazy stuff sometimes. I also recommend using two at at time, as that seems to make the heat last through the cold nights; you should also let the warmers heat up for about 30 minutes inside your home before putting them in the shelter for the night.) It really does last for 18 hours, and sometimes longer if you give them a good shake when they start to cool down in the morning. We were hitting near zero temps last winter, so I added three or four warmers on the super cold nights and the cats were toasty warm. (I could feel ambient heat in the shelter on the mornings following those super-cold nights.) I'm sure this isn't why everyone would buys these warmers, but if these things can keep cats warm overnight in a well insulated shelter, then they should do a good job of keeping people warm, too. Handy to have if the power goes out, for staying warm while shoveling snow, etc. :)

Excellent hand warmer, larger size of hand warmer - perfect for longer stays out in the cold. I buy at least three boxes of these for our family as holiday gifts and they never disappoint. Amazon has the best price point. You just take open the package, shake the packet, and then place the warmer in your pocket, glove, hat to stay warm. Stays warm for at least 8 hours.

These think long a long time. They work best by shaking the packet until all of the filling is at the bottom. Then fold the empty part of the pack over it, so the filling stayed packed together. It will generate alot of heat and all you have to do is shake it up again every 2 or 3 hours and it stays warm for your entire shift. I put one in each chest pocket on my shirt and it keeps my core warm.

This is a must have for winter and for feminine time. Rather it’s that time, and I use the heat to help aliviate the pain, or it’s winter and these are a saver when shoveling snow outside out kids going to school and need to use when walking. The amount you get for the price is a deal. These are so easy to use also, just take out of the bag and it will start heating up.

Good product, just too big. I prefer the smaller hotheads.

I wasn’t initially sure about these, but I can confidently say they are the most fantastic invention ever. Today, I went hiking and faced strong wind followed by a rainstorm. I used a few packs of Hot Hands, and they performed amazingly. My hands and body stayed warm, and they continued to generate heat. I highly recommend these to anyone living in cold climates, heading outdoors in cooler weather, or wanting to keep their hands and body protected.
