These are okay—BUT if a tool is meant to cut, it **should cut right out of the box!** I attempted to use these and ended up bending the tool and the leather was STILL NOT CUT! I had to sharpen each blade before being able to use them.Buyer be ware— you get what you pay for.These were nice and cheap, but be sure to have a whetstone to sharpen before they can be used.*Update: I have to say, great customer service! Used to trim leather on belts. Works great.

Edges don't seem to be as sharp as they should be. Required multiple hits just to cut through 3-4 oz leather and after less than a dozen uses, needed to be sharpened. Metal also doesn't seem to be as strong as other sets and I was scared of hitting harder and breaking the larger punches as they seem too fragile. I did buy a hand press and think they'll be fine using it but will refrain from using the larger punches with a hammer. Good quality for the price, just be aware that you may need to sharpen them prior to use.

These are ok for the price you pay. They are not finished the best. One of the punch blades was not completely concentric and needed bent. Plan on spending some time on the blades on a stone or diamond sharpener. Might take watching a whole movie to get sharp. They work fine after being reworked. You get what you pay for, so just have realistic expectations. I needed to bang out some Christmas presents and wasn't ready to drop $800 on a set of Weaver or CS Osbourne Leather punches. These will last a few jobs vs Weaver lasting a lifetime or 2.I was not disappointed, just had proper expectations.

Super cheaply made after being hit 3 times. It started folding where the cutting edge meets the shaft. Would not recommend buying, don't waste your money. Buy something more high quality

I liked the punches very much! They did arrive a bit dull but a little sand paper did the trick and wham! Awesome tool and have held up quite well! Recommend!

For the price you are paying they are well worth it. I only seldom use this type of cutting tool, so was looking for a cost friendly option, and these are working great! Pretty sharp out of the box, haven't needed to sharpen them yet.
