Q: How fine is the flour? Has anyone tried to make marzipan with it?

What I received in April 2020 is NOT super fine. False advertising. Most of it is a nut meal texture, not flour texture, and recipes come out completely different than real super fine ground almond flour. Doesn't combine with liquid ingredients. E.g. Instead of a thick cookie dough texture, you get runny goop, and there is no way to fix that. If used as a minor ingredient, maybe no problem, but as main flour, it fails. I will switch back to a different brand.

Q: Why is there a California proposition warning on this product?

California pasteurizes most of their nuts using chemicals & many times those chemicals are carcinogenic. Always ask the company how they are pasteurized.

Q: Are the almonds sprayed with pesticides?

To the best of my knowledge no pesticides are used. However I put a call into the company, and waiting for call back. I love this Almond flour as I am on Keto diet plan and make my baked good with it. Love it

Q: Is this certified gluten free?

Nope. It includes a warning that it may include wheat, milk, soy, and a variety of nuts.
