Tightening the red handle expands some built in pads that lock the rack tight into the receiver and reduces the side to side play of the rack. The rack seems to be well built. The small downside is that it can be difficult to line up the holes so the pins can fit when lowering or folding the rack.

Does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Only small complaint is that the front stabilizing bolt was offset, so it would not thread in. easy fix though.

This is our first time to use a hitch rack, we are heading out on a 2000 mile summer road trip The usual rack we use is a simple one that goes over the back spare tire on a Jeep Wrangler. But our Mercedes GLA250 SUV is going on the road trip and it has a plastic spoiler over the rear hatchback window so it needs a hitch rack. $350 at U-Haul for the hitch. Nice price for this rack, probably will only ever use it a few times.

I like it! I think the assembly instructions could have been better.

I like this a lot. Pretty simple to get together and holds two bikes nicely.

Great carrier but it did not work with my Tesla carrier hitch. Solved with a $3 part from Amazon but it was a hassle figuring it all out.
