Ladybird Favourite Fairy Tales

Such a lovely book for keeps. Stories are lengthy for a toddler, but I’ll wait cause it’s such a nice addition to the collection.Update: Though I’ve heard of these stories and thought that I would like my daughter to read them too, as I read them, they are not the thoughts I want my daughter to grow up with. The book is beautiful with great pages, but sadly outdated content in today’s context.

Good collection of stories. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves it. I read her the stories at bedtime and this has helped her in developing this habit of listening to stories at bed time which is great. Quality of the pages is good, picture demonstration is quite engaging for the Lil ones and the cover is hard and sturdy. Highly recommend!

It would be very good if the list of stories could be given to prospective buyers. There are eight very good stories, but I had them in other books already, so I basically ended up duplicating the collection except for some modifications in the presentation. But stories are very good and presented in very pleasant way and so is the book for graphics and illustrations.

Excellent quality. Hard bound, thick book and somewhat heavy. Glossy thick paper. Mrp 450/- got for 261/- certainly a good buy for your child. This NOT a girl specific book as others have also mentioned.

Amazing books for Kids, I bought four copies to gift it and all 4 year old loved this book. All four parents called me back, to tell me that their kid is in love with this book... Its great for kids and pictures are good and huge. Books were sent sooner by seller and was in good condition

Purchased the book for rs. 441.00I had the earlier ladybird blue book too. This one also is very nice. Good strong hard cover, nice pages with pictures and stories. My kids love it.

Classic fairytales.Pages quality n binding is awesome.Stories are good, unlike level 1-2 books which many a time have incomplete stories. Mrp is 450.So great buy at 30% discount.No where its mentioned 'for girls', which is great, as why stereotype fairytales!!!

Does not actually say "for girls" which pleased me. Brilliant stories for any gender, toned down a bit for younger children, for example the wolf hides the grandmother under the bed instead of eating her and the woodsman scares it away with his axe instead of cutting the grandmother out of it. Haha. Probably for the best for very young ones. Great pictures on every page, no entirely wordy ones. Really pleased with it. We have the other ladybird favourite stories book as well and highly recommended both.

Sturdy book. Good selection of stories and well illustrated. My granddaughter just loves it!

Beautifully illustrated and well told stories my Grandchildren love both "girl's and "boy's" editions regardless of gender, why make the distinction?
