One Christmas present down and done a good job.
A early Christmas present bought - the person wanted it early (just got to remember not to buy anything else for them)I don’t know much about this item but I was told it was sick and just what he wanted. It’s a 9 port in 1 hub / USB C adapter for the laptop as they never come with enough ports, card slots or readers. It Works at super speed, good quality picture, photos, easy to use, very stylish even comes in a lovely box and a 24 month after sale. It’s does everything it should do and I been told it has helped with the school work and his hobby in photoshop.Only problem it was a push to get into the bag that was provided but to be fair it won’t be in the bag much.

Ideal work-from-home docking station!
As working from home, I was looking for a way to get a little bit more mobility with my work issued Dell Inspiron. I spend long hours on it, therefore I had to make it more comfortable to work with - so the external keyboard, mouse, monitor, ethernet cable to get rid of the wifi issues, and so on. It resulted in my laptop having every single port used and if I wanted to change scenery and work somewhere else - I had to disconnect all of that and then reconnect it back. Nightmare. This hub has all I need. Literally. Everything except the charger is now connected through it (my laptop does not have USB-C charging) - HDMI output in 1080p 60Hz works awesome, never had any issues with the USB ports, and I get full speed of my internet connection. And now, if I decide to work from the couch, I just pop two cables and done! The only issue is that the hub gets a bit warm sometimes, but according to the sticker on it, it's to be expected.

Works out the box. Superb
All worked straight out the box with an HP spectre laptop (USB, charging pass through, external monitor etc) without having to install any software or drivers. Great value and solidly built.Update: Although the ethernet port connects at 1Gbps, throughput barely reaches 100Mbps with or without the power supply attached. A bit annoying but in general use doesnt really cause an issue.

PD port faulty
Hub was fine for all the ports except the PD port, which kept connecting and disconnecting the power repeatedly. Had to return for a refund - a shame as the unit appears well built and otherwise functional.

Excellent Hub with lots of connectivity
I recently got a new Lenovo Yoga laptop which although is a good laptop it has limited connectivity as standard. As the laptop only comes with one USB-c port (which is used by the power supply) I wanted a hub which allowed the power supply to be plugged into it and still charge the laptop while also allowing me to connect 2 HDMI monitors. This hub allows that as well as providing extra USB ports and connectivity for SD cardsThe hub also feels well made and has a good weight and feel about it.I have to say although this hub is more expensive than some of the others available I think it’s worth the extra cost for the extra USB ports and connectivity it provides

great little hub
This is a well made great little hub and it hooked up to my HP elitebook x360 straight away with all ports loaded and working without any issues - i.e. Ethernet HDMI and two hard drives and my phone into the USB ports. I also plugged the laptop charger into the C port as a power passthrough so was also charging the laptop at the same time. So I'm very impressed so far - at it is solidly made does what it's supposed to and as I don't intend to be changing things too much, it will hopefully be durable and reliable too. Highly recommended.

Overheats quickly!
I bought this as a replacement when my original hub died due to poor connection design. In general, I am fairly satisfied with this product, it does do what I need it to do. I use it to connect an extra monitor to my MacBook Pro, along with a mic when I'm doing meetings and recordings. I also use the USB ports for my external hard drives and charging my phone/tablet, and the memory card reader for my photography. It was also attractive due to the ethernet port, as my wifi was unstable in halls at times.Under normal study setup, where the only thing connected is the HDMI, it's warm. It's not burning, but it definitely close to what I'm comfortable with touching.I occasionally use one of the USB ports to charge either my phone or my tablet. It comes with three normal USB 3.0 ports, and one for fast charge. Upon using the fast charge, it draws too much power for me to connect a memory card or a USB stick. It also gets very hot, to the point of me being slightly scared it'll catch fire at any moment. It also gets quite warm when connecting my hard drives, so I tend to not only disconnect them when not in use, but avoid using them any more than absolutely necessary. The hub is so warm that I cannot touch it, and I've ended up using my long nails to hold it back while trying to pull the end of the cable (which logically also heats up). For the same reason, I never charge my laptop through the USB-C port it offers. All in all, I've been happy with this product as a temporary solution until I can afford a better one, but I would be careful using it a lot, and always make sure it's in your line of sight, with open space around it.

Pretty handy
I use this little gadget to allow me to use my phone (and a HDMI capture card) as a webcam during lock-down. The HDMI works really well, the network port is, not necessary in my case, but also works, and the USB ports let me plug in a USB sound card dongle so my sound and video all come from the same source. Brilliant!Sadly, whilst the Power Delivery port does supply some power to charge my phone whilst it's connected, it doesn't do it very quickly. When my phone screen and camera are active, the battery level still drops (albeit at a slower rate). However I think this is more likely to be a problem with the way that Huawei have implemented power delivery on their phones, and the generally fragmented approach to power delivery in general at the moment.
