Good product.
It is a good product. Light was bright and clear. Build quality of the diffuser is a little flimsy and ill fitting, but works out if concealed in a lighting sconce. Regarding the durability I really cannot comment since I did not use it for long. To be honest, I initiated a return and refund on the same day as receiving it. The reason had nothing to do with the quality of the product. I returned it because the light was not of the colour that I had expected; it did not go well with the rest of our lighting scheme. In hindsight, I would have preferred the 2700 or 2400k bulb. Unfortunately, such options are limited with the Philips bulbs available on Amazon. I should also mention that the returning process was very good. The response from Amazon was prompt, fair and most importantly, hassle free.

Value for money
were a perfect fit and matched the brightness I wanted. These were a warm white color, so its not pure white in case you are looking for that. They have also lasted more than a year, and i believe they shall continue to run seamlessly. I didnt see them generating excessive heat, though they do get hot due to the circuit.

Real world life of these bulbs
This is a review after two years. I bought around 18 of these 14W bulbs back in September of 2017 at an avg. cost of Rs.320 per bulb. Replaced all the incandescent bulbs in the house. So all bulbs started life at the same time. All bulbs were received from several sellers in working order. To date just one has fused and was replaced. This bulb was used on avg about 12 hours every day. It fused in Apr 2019. This means i got 19 months of life at 12 hours per day. Now life will be more if it is used less. Assuming the relationship is linear 19 months or 1 year 7 months for 12 hours per day with max life of ~7,000 hours 38 months or 3 years 2 months for 6 hours per day with max life of ~7,000 hours 76 months or 6 years 4 months at 3 hours per day with max life of ~7,000 hours 152 months at 12 years 8 months at 1.5 hours per day with max life of ~7,000 hours On the box, Phillips says the bulb lasts upto 15 years in an *open* fitting with usage of 2.7 hours per day for a max life of 15,000 hours. My light fittings have the bulb pointing down and are globe like with an opening at the bottom. Whether that qualifies as 'open' or not i'm not sure. If not open enough then heat could have built up in them, leading to half the expected life. Also 12 hours per day is quite a long period of daily operation. I suppose had i used open light fittings then life could have been longer. I've noticed that the brightness of these bulbs decreases ever so slightly over time. Dazzlingly bright at first gets dimmer slowly. So don't worry about the brightness, you'll get used to it as it decreases. I did not notice much of a difference in my electricity bill. I suppose usage of other items might have increased to level out any savings on electricity from LED. In comparison to incandescent, whose life is around 3-4 months at a cost of Rs.20 for 100W. Meaning at my usage i'd have had to buy at least 6 bulbs and replace them. From a convenience point of view, replacing just one bulb in over two years is good. The lower consumption means LED is inverter friendly which is the main reason to get these bulbs. I'll update this post in the future should any more fuse to add further data points.

Build quality is ok type.
Build quality is not as expected from Philips. Light is slightly yellowish. Not purely warm white.

The best bulb money can buy. If you are a fan of the yellow light that an incandescent bulb produces, you will like this...
I initially bought a Philips 14-watt 'cool day light' bulb and and I was extremely impressed with the crisp and bright light. Being a fan of the yellow light that an incandescent bulb produces, I bought the 'warm white' which was the perfect replacement for my old bulbs. I tried to place this bulb in one of those decorative lamps but the bulb was to big for it. I tried to use them in the bathroom but they were too bright for it. So, I finally placed them in the veranda and they seem to be doing an excellent job. I am really glad to see that these bulbs are manufactured in India. I would recommend Philips made LEDs rather than the cheap, unreliable Chinese ones. These were the only reliable 14 watt bulbs i could find in the market. Though its relatively expensive, you definitely get what you paid for and you wont regret it.

Just what i wanted
I bought the b22 type 14w warm white as well, but it was quite yellow. This one in e27 that i got for my lamp is just what i wanted. Warm white and bright enough, although it's much less bright than a 14w cool white lamps. But yes, go for it. It's warm white and probably that's what you're looking for if you're here.
