Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Clear and easy guide and takes a small problem that could have become a big moving violation ticket and gets rid of it. The dealer wanted me to drive an hour to their location, pay for a diagnosis (duh, the clip stop is missing and was never installed) to do what cost me a buck and took about 2 minutes to fix.

These are a lifesaver. I bought some directly from an auto parts place-- only 2 per package-- and one set didn't actually connect. So the fact that I got FIVE sets of clip stops and an awl to make installation easier, for cheaper than the others I paid for, makes this a perfect purchase. And yes, these all work so far. Thank goodness, I was sick of having to dig for my belt buckle between the seat and the door every time I go for a drive.

I purchased this Y-Axis 5 x Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop - Universal Fit Stopper Kit Black (5 Sets) from the seller Mr-Security for the price of $6.49 and it was shipped by Amazon. I had a seatbelt in the back that was missing it's clip stop and after much groaning from my daughter I picked this up to fix it. Wish I had done it sooner. I didn't realize how inexpensive or easy this would be. I found the original spot based on the outline of the previous clip stop button and poked the hole through with the pokey thing. I had to really work at it a bit to spread it out, and even then the hole on the button didn't go through right away and I used my nail to push the fibers aside enough to get it through. Then you push the two together and while I didn't hear a snap or anything, when I tried to pull them apart it wouldn't budge. Super easy and really improved quality of life.

In the pictures they look like they have a matte textured finish but what I received were shiny so that was a little disappointing. The awl they give you is weirdly nice and extremely sharp. It gets the job done.

I recently purchased a used 2003 Ford Ranger and although this truck was in incredibly nice condition, for some reason the little button that stops the seat belt buckle from sliding to the floor, was missing on the seat belt portion that hangs from your shoulder area.. The first few days that I owned the truck, I would get so frustrated with having to open the door every time I had to retrieve the buckle so I could fasten my seat belt. The buckle would slide to the floor with the little button missing and end up wedged between the floor and the seat. I had no idea that this Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop was available. I thought I just had to live with a defective seat belt. So I started searching and to my amazement, I found this inexpensive kit and it even came with an awl (or pointy device to poke a hole in the seat belt for the new button). I ordered it, and within 10 minutes of receiving this kit in the mail, I had my frustrations relieved and a new Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop installed. These buttons are a 2-Piece configuration. All you do is poke a hole in the seat belt that hangs from your shoulder area, and insert the male end of the button through the belt and snap on the other side of the button - then squeeze them together (I gently used a pair of plyers to squeeze the 2 parts of the button together) . Much like a snap on a shirt or pants. EASY ! If you are missing your Seat Belt Button Buckle Clip Stop on ANY CAR, I highly recommend this little kit. The price is perfect and it will save you a ton of frustrations by taking a few minutes to order and install a new button so that you are not fishing around on the floor to find the seat belt buckle that usually gets wedged between the seat and the floor if no button is on the belt to stop the buckle from falling to the floor. The seat belt stoppers are exactly as described. A shiny surface and are well made. Installation is very simple and is complete in less than a minute. Make a small hole using the provided awl and snap the stopper into place! Works just as described and highly recommend.
