Really short
I purchased these thinking I would add place it on top of a china cabinet and point the camera down...that didn't work. It would hold the camera in place, but it was not all enough to point the camera down. So if you want to point your camera left, right or up; this may work for you. If you need to point the camera down, keep looking. I gave it 4 stars because it works as designed, it's my fault for not making sure it was tall enough to do what I needed.

These worked great to install my Arlo cameras in my courtyard where I did not want to drill anything into stucco or metal. Attached it to a piece of wood and used a strap to mount it to a pole

Ok for price.
Good overall but magnet is not as strong as real Arlo. If placing outside with wind, camera may move on you. I placed some tape on bottom of my magnet ball and it stopped it from sliding down.

Diese Kugelhalterung ist für Arlo Pro und Arlo Pro 2 Kameras geeignet.Durch den in die Kamerarückseite integrierten Magneten, sitzt die Kamera genügend fest auf der Metallkugel des Halters und läßt sich zudem noch in alle Richtungen bewegen. Der Fuß besteht aus Kunststoff mit im Sockel eingelegter Stahl-Platte.Der Sockel selbst ist zweigeteilt. Per Drehung des Bajonettverschlusses läßt sich die Grundplatte (mit einer zur Beschwerung eingelegten Stahl-Scheibe) abnehmen.Mittels beigelegter Schrauben und Dübel sowie 2 vorhandener Bohrungen in der Grundplatte läßt sich diese an jeder Wand oder jedem sonstigen Gegenstand befestigen.Die eigentliche Halterung mit dem Kugelkopf läßt sich dann wieder auf die Grundplatte aufsetzen und durch Drehung verriegeln.Die relativ starke Magnetkraft läßt dabei sogar eine Deckenbefestigung zu.Genau so kann aber auch die Halterung - ohne feste Verschraubung - mit der Kamera lose auf ein Möbelstück oder anderes Objekt gestellt werden.Die Kamerahalterung ist in den Farben schwarz glänzend sowie weiß glänzend im 2er Set.Insbesondere bei der Innenmontage fällt die ansprechende Form des Halters auf.Ich würde diese Halterung jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Great mount!
The product description states it's about 5 inches tall, but that is incorrect. As my picture shows, it's only about 3 inches tall. I have this mounted on a wall indoors, and there's plenty of room to adjust my Arlo Pro to my desired angle and plug the power cord into the back. It was easy to install with the provided screws. I did try this on a table and while the base is slightly weighted and 3.5" in diameter, I found that depending on the angle you have the camera, the weight of the camera could cause the mount to tip over (ie: if the camera was pointing down too much).
