Are these suitable for removing ear hair? Are they precise enough or will hairs slip through?

I had to try it first... Depends on how you lock down the forceps on the ear hair. If you lock down the forceps in line with the teeth, then the hair may slip through. If you lock down the forceps so the hair is across the teeth, it seems to work better.

I need the most narrow tipped hemostat, are these advertised as 0.1mm tip width? Anyone know what's the narrowest tip on the market?

These are larger than 0.1 mm. Mine also arrived in used condition, and don’t clamp together. I’d suggest you look elsewhere.

would this work for taking the ball off my tragus earring?

Yes, I just used them to take the ball of one of my earrings and they worked perfectly!

Are they German or pakistani stainless?

No indication. I use these for fishing. Exposed to saltwater during a trip and only managed to rinse them off the next day. Some surface stains developed on the jaw but they were light enough to be rubbed off with a rag. Stainless doesn't mean stain proof, it just means "less" likely to rust than a high carbon steel. Even steel marked "Rostfrei" are not impervious to rust, it is just the German equivalent to "stainless". If I was to make a guess, this is likely a 420 series steel.
