I am using Sensodyne Repair & Protect Toothpaste for quite sometime and overall, it’s a solid choice for anyone dealing with tooth sensitivity. Powered by NovaMin technology, this toothpaste is designed to repair sensitive areas of teeth by forming a protective mineral layer over exposed dentin, while also offering cavity protection and enamel strengthening. The texture is smooth and non-abrasive, which makes brushing comfortable, especially for sensitive gums. After using it twice daily for about two weeks, I noticed a meaningful reduction in sensitivity when consuming hot or cold foods, which was a relief. The mint flavor is mild and pleasant, leaving my mouth feeling fresh without being overpowering. It lathers well and cleans effectively, keeping my teeth feeling smooth and polished. On the downside, it’s a bit pricier than standard toothpastes, retailing around Rs. 200-250 for a 100g tube, which might feel steep for some. Also, while it works well for sensitivity, it doesn’t offer the intense whitening some might expect from other specialized toothpastes. It took a couple of weeks to notice significant results, so patience is key. Overall, Sensodyne Repair & Protect does what it promises—reduces sensitivity and supports oral health. It’s a reliable, dentist-recommended option for those with sensitive teeth, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for effective sensitivity relief, provided they’re okay with the price and don’t expect dramatic whitening.
