Bell Aliant Users - Finally a Device that Syncs at the 2.5G your GPRON requires. It was either this Device or a Ubiquiti Switch for $700 - With Amazon's amazing return program, I decided to give it a shot. Received it in two days, Plugged the SFP into the SFP Port, and the Cat6 into the RJ45 jacks from my UDM SE to this Device, told the UDM to VLAN tag 35 on the 2.5G WAN port and It Immediately connected, and started Syncing at 2.5 GB - Amazing! - I Spent years looking for a Device that could do this for under $500, and I Finally found it. No more 800 Mbps speed tests, now im getting 1.2GB From my UDM SE on Download, and 940 Mbps on Upload. Additionally, this Device does not get Hot unlike some of the other Media Converters on the Market. After a Solid Week of Internet Traffic, with no downtime - It's still cool to the Touch! - Now let's hope this Switch lasts for years to come! Very Satisfied, and you will be too! - I will be Recommending this device to all my networking friends/people who want to free themself from the HH3000 with Bell

Switch is prijs kwaliteit gezien wel heel goed. Ben er blij mee heb alleen nog niet de 10gb uit kunnen proberen. Heb het op mijn nas aangesloten en top.

Dont know whats going on, just plugged this in and am getting a flashing power light. No cables connecting to ports who any lights, cant get a connection from any devices. Is this blown, a dud?

I’m using the YuanLey YS25-0402, the model with 4× 2.5Gb ports and 2× 10Gb SFP+ uplinks, and I paired it with FlexOptic 10G BiDi LC transceivers programmed to MSA/Generic so any switch can use them. The setup worked instantly and far better than I expected. ✔️ 10Gb Optics Work Perfectly The moment I inserted the FlexOptic BiDi modules, the switch locked in at 10,000 Mbps full-duplex with zero problems. No vendor lock, no config, no negotiation issues — literally plug-and-play. The link is: Fully stable No flapping or drops No packet errors Runs cool Works flawlessly across floors For a budget unmanaged switch, the behaviour is honestly impressive. ✔️ Using It as a Home Fibre Backbone My setup uses a 60m run of bend-insensitive LC-UPC fibre to link my ground floor to my third floor. Ground Floor → Third Floor (10Gb BiDi Fibre): SFP+ Port 1 → FlexOptic BiDi (MSA/Generic) Single-strand fibre (BiDi saves one core) SFP+ Port 1 on the second switch → matching FlexOptic module Solid 10Gb link end-to-end On the third floor I feed: My PC via 2.5Gb PCIe My ASUS TUF-AX3000 V2 in AP mode (full 2.5Gb backhaul) Even with heavy transfers, the 10Gb backbone stays completely stable. ✔️ Real-World Performance Fibre backbone: 10Gb stable with <1ms latency PC gets full 2.5Gb AP delivers 900–1200 Mbps WiFi 6 in the same room No bottlenecks, no slowdowns The second SFP+ port also leaves room for upgrades (NAS, another floor, 10Gb server, etc.). ✔️ Final Verdict The YuanLey YS25-0402 + FlexOptic 10G BiDi LC (MSA/Generic) combo is honestly one of the best affordable multi-gig solutions you can build. You get: A real 10Gb optical backbone 2.5Gb multi-gig on each floor Full stability Universal optic compatibility Silent, cool, and completely plug-and-play For the price, the performance is on par with switches that cost 3× more.
