This was a great game! We played it for a few games and you couldHave more than we did in the party to play. It was lots of fun and had you thinking. Plays best if people really commit toTheir character card.

My favorite game ever!

An endless night of “Breaking the Family.” MUAHAHAHAHA! That said, I probably should’ve picked the original version. This one has so many roles to choose from, which made it a bit overwhelming. However, it did create even more tension and trust issues with the players. 😶‍🌫️

Just an unbelievably EXCELLENT game. The value here is through the roof, and all in a slick-looking, compact package. I don't usually review things I purchase from Amazon, but this one deserves it, and then some.I brought this game, along with several others for my extended family to play together on our week-long vacation up north to the cabin. But as fate had it, we just so happened to try Mafia first on night 1, and didn't really feel the desire to play anything BUT Mafia for the rest of the week after that (RIP other games). Highly addicting, even in its most basic form (this game kept 20+ family members...several of which are baby boomers and Gen-Xers...up playing and laughing until 4am one night...on vacation, mind you...it's THAT addicting). And beyond its basic form, which is fun enough in itself, the countless extra role cards create an endless amount of customization and replayability for years to come. So, SO many laughs (the "gut-busting" kind), you really are missing out if you don't give this game a shot.One of the most strategic and gratifying games I've ever played. On top of that, I've NEVER experienced a game that created SUCH a fun atmosphere in the room, that just watching the chaos ensue in the background was almost as fun as playing, if not more. Very much looking forward to what Apostrophe Games has in store for the future of this game. I will instantly be buying whatever they put out next for Mafia.

It exceeded my expectation of this game.

I've been playing Mafia for a few years and generally have a lot of fun at it. I started making cards on my own so I was looking to buy professionally made cards. These cards are GREAT! High-quality and there are several characters I never heard of, which are actually very clever characters and fun to play with. Depending on how many players in the game, it usually goes for a really long time, so if you're the first one eliminated it can be a drag waiting for the entire game to play out while you sit there. Some of the cards in this set can accelerate the game play by allowing certain characters to eliminate during the night phase.Basically, if you like to play the game of Mafia, buy this set. You won't regret it.
