Bass Drum Heads (DNB)

This replaced the tama hoop protectors I originally purchased for my Sonor Prolites. No comparison. If you have a nice drum kit then you need this no questions asked. Install took 30 seconds and it protects the top AND bottom of the hoop. I have a DW 9000 double and had no issues fitting the pedal on the hoop. Buy this now.

I trie a couple of different hoop protectors and they just wouldn't stay on or made of cheap material. The DRUMnBASE is so simple and yet so effective. Wish I would have just found this first. What a waste of money the others were.

This is a small inexpensive drum accessory that all manufacturers of drums and/or bass drum pedals should include. It simply protects the hoop on both sides where the bass drum pedal clamps on. Avoid the 'hoop rash' and use this.

Great product however it does make it more difficult to clamp the bass drum pedal in place.

Just one shot for a good installation. Please don't try peel and install again, but it does the job.

EDIT - after a few months use on a few different bass drums, unfortunately the glue just doesn’t seem sticky enough to hold these on for any length of time. Shame because otherwise it’s a nicely designed product.Probably the best bass drum hoop protector you can buy. I own quite a few kits and use these on most of them now. The adhesive is really strong and they work really well. Most importantly, they save your bass drum hoop from scuffing.
