Good replacement
This works great for my suburban and was so easy to install. It has maintained the proper temperature and fit exactly as it should. I replaced this when I replaced my radiator, so far so good with no problems. I would recommend it.

Good price and good thermostat
I was putting a new radiator and decided I would swap out the thermostat and housing while I was at it. It's the same one the parts houses sell for twice as much if not more. Fit the housing perfectly.

Value, good product
I would use this any day to replace an original equipment thermostat without hesitation. Unit installs very easily and came with gasket needed to finish project. However, the a c delco thermostat did not come with the gasket. That is why about the gates. Works great no problems.

Works as it should
Used on a 2004 GMC 5.3 I purchased this along with a new gates pump and hoses. I used the original water neck and everything bolted up perfect with no leaks. the rubber ring is the seal. No need to use any gasket material. it has the small hole in which air can be purged and the thermostat can more easily balance the water temps. I have nticed that the thermostat will allow engine temps to climb to about 180, then it opens enough to hold there for a couple minutes. From there the flow gets balanced and my engine runs at the usual temp of around 200 degrees. So far it has been the same in single digit temps as well as 60 degree weather. Well worth the cost as store brand replacements from the other places cost even more.
