No directions
Nice product that works fine but you have to research the wiring as it does not come with any directions. If it had that I would have given it a 5

Very Nice
Our table lamb touch switch sensor with 4 mode is damaged, I've replaced it with this one. It is working perfectly and as described but the sheet is not included with the product, the Black Wire is common - Neutral- for I/P & O/P, Red Wire is the I/P of -Live- Hot, Blue Wire is the O/P to light. The build quality is very good and I hope it will last for good time.

Make sure it is the right one before replacing
Not what I needed right away but great for my next project

Only 3 light levels.
The unit works. But,,,,,,,,,,,, there are only 3 light levels. 4 mode apparently means OFF and 3 light settings. Deceptive advertising. Also, had to look online for clear explanation for wiring connections. No instructions included, label on unit is not really that clear. Easily done with the online additional explanation of which wires to use.

Works fine, relatively easy to install
I was a bit sad when my 2 year old touch sensitive lamp died, and thought I'd have to buy a new one. Luckily, the lamp is now as good as new. It's not a doddle to install. The problem is that there is no standard way of wiring these sensors, so your sensor may be wired differently, or the wires may have different colours. but with a bit of care and attention, and applying logic, you should be fine.I strongly recommend that you take a photo of the wiring of the old sensor before taking it off, as that will help you make sure that you wire this new one correctly.

Works - but know what you are doing
The device works fine however it had an additional wire and they were different colours than the original. There were no instructions with the device so I had to resort to using a multi-meter (I am a trained electronics engineer) – so unless you know electrics I would not recommend, if you don’t know what you are doing there is every chance you could break it or blow a fuse when you switch on if the connections are incorrect. I did google it and all the ones I found had the same colour as my old one, not the same as this item.

Works well, solved the problem
I bought 5 lamps with touch sensors a few years ago - since then all but one had failed. This replacement sensor works well and fits n the space available - all lamps now working properly again. One of the new sensors didn't work at first - had a look inside, saw that a resistor was only soldered in at one end, resoldered it, and everything worked fine. The design of the circuitry is different from the earlier ones, and probably inherently more reliable.

Freestanding lamp now back to working condition at a fraction of repair/replacement cost
2nd time I've had to buy one of these, and works perfectly. Probably won't last forever (so to speak) if the last similar (not this exact item, I couldn't source the other this time) sensor's life is anything to go by, but even if I get the same 10 months or so I'll be happy - freestanding lamp now back to working condition at a fraction of repair/replacement cost.

Good unit. Works fine.
This unit was a little large, and did not have the same suppression components as the unit it replaced, but it works fine and is not creating pickup in my TV & audio system. I rewired the existing wires onto the circuit board (that destroyed the warranty) but this unit allowed the plastic case to be opened, and gave you space to do the changes.
