Fit well, filter properly, and cost less than name brand
These replacement filters fit my standard Brita pitcher without any issues and installed easily. They filter the water just as expected, improving taste and clarity, and I didn’t notice any leaks or fit problems. They’re a good alternative to the name-brand filters, especially if you go through them regularly and want to save a bit of money. So far they’ve performed exactly as they should, and I’d purchase them again based on value and compatibility alone.

A bit odd
1st time using these. Every filter created murky water for the first half gallon or so, most likely charcoal dust, no big deal...I hope. Discarded the murky stuff and it didn't return. Most filter brands say to discard a certain amount of water after changing to a new filter. Water tasted fine. Of the 6 I bought last year, one, maybe two of them performed less than average after a month. Supposed to last two months or 40 gallons, which seems to be average for several brands of similar filters. I never use 40 gallons and usually wait an extra two weeks or so passed the two months to change filter and have no problems with taste of water. I have used Brita brand, Great Value brand. I can taste when filtering lessens and usually end up changing filter because it is recommended, not because of taste. Can usually tell if filters don't fit snug enough or are not pushed down into place enough to create a good seal, which lets unfiltered water down into the reservoir. Unfortunately, if this was the case I did not commit it to memory, so I can't totally say it is the filters fault. I gutted it out and used the filter(s) for the two months. Got these for just under 16 dollars after tax. So even if I had replaced two, each a month early, that is like having one of them not work at all, which is still 5 good filters for roughly 3.20ea, and 10 months of filtered water. Filters like this can cost 8.00ea if bought individually.

Water tastes great
These are great! After reading other comments after soaking and rinsing the filter, I also let it filter twice then dumped the water. I have hard water and originally got these to use for my dogs water because I have the 5 gallon water cooler. I also use these for myself and keep a pitch in the fridge. They filter pretty quickly and the water tastes good. Water is the one of the only things I drink and I hate tapp water. Highly recommend these!

My family takes water safety seriously. Like another reviewer mentioned this product is substandard. It tests at worse than our local tap water (215 vs. 165 ppm). The product description states 'WQA against NSF/ASNI Standard' so I checked out the WQA website which states that the Commercial Cool CCWFB is 'certified for materials safety only'. So the actual water filtration performance isn't tested? Seriously? Not only that but the product page here neglects to mention it is imported from China. Not exactly the go-to source for quality or assurance. It is quite unfortunate the millions of poor quality and potentially dangerous products are sold on Amazon with no regard for the safety of the public. The 'Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.' is starting to mean nothing for me now and I will have to use a lot more discretion when ordering online now. The word Brita should not be allowed to be used in the LENGTHY title as late night buying has probably has lead to more than a few shoppers not realizing that this is NOT a Brita product. This is a product by Commercial Cool and they are not resellers or affiliated with Brita in anyway. For those looking for a quality water filtration system, my partner and I have used ZeroWater and like it.

Soaked & let water run through these filters for multiple hours and the "filtered" water still has very noticeable chemical taste to it. Not only is it worse tasting than tap water, it is simple inedible - I wouldn't even give it to plants. Don't waste your money on these knock-offs, they DO NOT work.
