Value for the money
This roving/sliver is perfect for laying out a design to be wet felted or needle felting. The staple length is about 5 inches so keep this in mind if you choose to needle felt. It will wrap around your armatures beautifully. The wool is NOT Marino, its Corriedale so it isn't as soft and not ideal for anything you are using close to the body. The texture is similar to bergshaf. I feel like it's still quality wool and it works up nice. If your are just getting into needle or wet felting I recommend this.

Good product
I purchased this roving wool to make dreadlocks. It was shipped to me in a plastic bag labeled Kondoos. When first pulling the product out I noticed right away that it was not as soft of a texture like others that I have used. While processing dreadlocks, it needs to be dipped in water, after doing so the whole pot of water was green. The color did not seem to lighten though as you can see in the picture. It pulled apart good and formed nice dreadlocks. I also wrapped them up to make them have some curl and it has stayed that way since being made. Definitely a good product for the price. I would recommend for any use.

Very turquoisey
I haven't used the product yet but I think it will work well. The color is what I was expecting.

Great to felt soap
I use this to felt my handmade cold process soaps. It works great. The soaps came out amazing. I like it so much I purchased this wool in a few different colors so I could felt the soaps in neutral base colors and then do the designs. It is a good amount you get, I have done a LOT of bars, and I still have tons of wool left.

Not the best for needle felting
I bought this specifically because it was said to be the "best" for needle felting. It is soft, and the fibers are long which is lovely for wet felting but not best for needle felting. It requires a lot more needling to felt properly. I don't find Merino best for my needle felting...I love it for a sweater though! If Merino is what you want, this is a good amount for the price. UPDATE: After trying something suggested to me by a wet-felting artist, I want to update my review. I took a handful of this roving and spritzed it with warm water, patted it a bit to distribute the water and blotted it with a paper towel, and let it dry. As the fibers dried they became a bit less straight and it was easier to needle felt. Merino still may not be the best choice of fiber, but this really did help.
