Shea Butter Soap Base - 100% Natural - 8 lb - EarthWise Aromatics

This soap base was super easy to use. It was my first time making soap at home and I had no problem at all. Melts easily, I was able to add whatever I wanted, dried and cut well. Made party favors for a friends bridal shower; guests loved it! Doesn't lather a ton but it's sufficient.

My son has been making soap bars as a new hobby. He had someone ask for an "all natural" base, so we thought we would order this one to try. It smells really good even before adding any oils or scents, and it makes my hands feel really good just from helping him cut it.

By far this was the best value for money I found for melt and pour Shea butter. It melted quickly and smoothly and mixed perfectly with essential oils and some dried lavender. Very pleased!It comes in one giant block so unless you have a scale, it be tricky to tell how much your cutting off if you’re trying to do small amounts at a time.

Very soft and fluffy. Holds color very well but I have trouble getting scents to stay in it. My scents seem to cook out of Shea butter quicker than goat’s milk and yogurt base.

This was by far the worst soap base I have ever used. It is hard to melt and takes a lot longer than any other base and it is extremely hard to pour because it starts to set really quickly. The end result is also disappointing.I will not be ordering this again.

Great base. Not packaged the best. It is just wrapped up in a thin layer of plastic. Seeing as other people had weight issues when they purchased this, I weighed mine after I received it. It was slightly over 8lbs. Fantastic buy.
