Great little devices that run cool and get the job done!
These are actually incredible value! I used them to create a 10GbE VLAN trunk between upstairs and downstairs so I could carry "dirty" Internet to where my firewall is located (and "clean" network back downstairs) using a single fibre cable. They fully support 802.1Q and have all the features you need to get the basic networking jobs done. The interface is quite plain and there's no CLI but for the job I needed they're great and highly recommended. I've had them in situ for weeks and never had an issue.

An excellent switch - perfect for the home lab, or advanced home setups
Review of 9 port web managed switch (8x2.5 Gb ports - 1 x 10Gb) I'm really glad I picked this up, replacing my decade old TP Link web managed switch. The Sodola 9 port is less than half the size, which is great as I like my home IT kits to be as invisible as possible these days. Build quality is good. I like the magnetic attachments that come with it, and I'd point out that the magnets are strong enough to hold it in place regardless of the number of cables plugged in. My setup is multi VLAN with a mix of 100Mb, 1Gb and 2.5Gb links. That includes a static LAG with 2 ports in running traffic between floors (I'll switch that to LACP at some point, which is also supported) and also servicing a couple of virtualization hosts, NAS, media server etc. It seems to be packed with a good number of features; I've yet to test them all, but what I have seems to work without bugs, quirks or caveats. The web UI is simple and intuitive if you've used these things before. Lightweight and functional rather than over the top. You'll soon get things up and running (remember to save config after successful changes). It runs cool for me and should save power compared to my old one. Would definitely consider buying this brand again.

Great value 2.5Gbs switch
Works well. Does have magnets, but flat surface 3m'd to wall. Amazing for the price.

My second generation 2.5Gbps switch
I bought my first "totally dumb" layer 2, 2.5Gbps switch a while back. As time has gone one I realised that I really needed at least some basic VLAN capability and a few other capabilities to help make my IoT framework a little more secure. This is a small footprint layer 2 and a bit switch in an aluminium case that doesn't even really get warm to the touch. It does what I need and does it well, the weakest link in my IoT is now the coming upto 5 year old router! Great value, looks the part, keeps up with my other equipment. Initial setup definitely takes a little bit of networking knowledge, and the web interface is a bit clunky, but it'll do for now!

Very good
I like Sodola. I am not to sure about the aluminium build, it makes for a very small case. The performance is brilliant, throughput is very good. My previous Tp-link switch was using 20 watts these are good for 4 watts. You have to take that into consideration in these days of high energy prices. Very small footprint, quite a bit of heat generated but that is normal. Nice to see the power supply plug back on the same side as the RJ45's about time.

Flexible, fast switch that is easy to configure.
Good value at the price I paid, useful to have several 10G SFP+ ports for future proofing connectivity. Web management interface is easy to use and offers good configurability, but no need to fiddle if you don't need to. Reasonably easy to setup ... Only thing you really need to do is configure IP and subnet, everything else can be left as-is. Getting solid speeds and great latency between a sunshine server and moonlight client. Nicely built and the optional magnet feet are very handy as well.

no reset button
The manufacturer saved about 5 cents by not including a reset button, so if someone changed ip adress from default 192.168.2.1 in webui and send it back to amazon, you simply cant get access to it...

Nice little switch
Nice Managed 2.5g SFP+ switch. UI is a bit outdated, but works perfectly fine. I have 2 of these connected via 10g fiber uplink and works as expected. I have configured VLANs and this also works as expected. Extremely good value for money
