I started with the small "kit" and once I figured out how to be successful with the bonding I moved up to this light source. It is so much easier than the little unit and works GREAT! I have used bonding on a couple of different things that I didn't think would ever be usable again and it bonded them easily. Great for small to medium household jobs or the hobbyist. Really happy with this. Key to bonding is having a gap you can fill rather then the superglue approach where you can essentially squeeze the two sides together.

This is a very cool little, and I do mean little, UV light. It is unfiltered, so there is a lot of extra visible light, but the UV is truly 365 nm and it gets a good response from fluorescent minerals. It is powered by a single AAA battery, so it obviously is not as bright nor will last as long as a UV light using the same LG LED but powered by an 18650 battery. It isn't much bigger than an AAA battery either, so it is easy to take everywhere.

The description specifies UV301A when it is a 301D like in the product picture and 365nm description are correct. The 301A (396nm) doesn't seem to be available.Other than the typo, I find the content of the other 5* reviews to match my experience. Very well built and bright!

I am an auto glass technician, I bought this because windshield repairs use a resin that is Cured with UV light. Sometimes if I am in the shade or garage doing a repair and don’t have sunlight this is very much required. Most Uv lights for chip repair are 100-200$!! Which is outrageous. I bought this to see if it would work and honestly thought it would be a lot bigger than it was, so after I inboxed it I had high doubts it would work. However, this thing is powerful enough to cure the resin in seconds! I’ve used lights specified for windshield repair that took 30+ seconds and this one takes about 3

Took on a camping trip and went spotting along the river bank at night and saw all kinds of neat things, found a couple florescent rocks and some insects that lit up really bright, everyone thought it was really neat

I don't know how to rate you yet. I am still waiting to charge my lithium ion re-chargeable battery. The problem with the battery is that it's huge & pink & there's no (+) or (-) markings & no instructions so there's no clear direction on how to insert it into the charger & the flashlight. The other problem is that I thought the clear plastic wrapping around the lavender battery was supposed to be removed bc of the way it looks - it looks like plastic & paper wrapping! It was only when I saw the pictures that I realized I wasn't supposed to remove it... I'll change my review once I get it working, if it turns out that I'm wrong. But really, you should have better directions.

Did some research online before purchasing this black light UV flashlight. This had high ratings and was more expensive but it is worth spending the extra. This is an amazing flashlight, and has a long, and bright beam. I highly recommend it!

This light might be small but it does what it is suppose to do. I am happy with it.The only drawback I have is that it gets very hot very quick so you can not leave it on very long at all. Other then that I am satisfied with it.

Pro : Solid aluminum construction ,easy to use, comes with 2 X batteries and spare O rings .Con: Instructions are translated from Chinese to English and adequate but could be better if written by a fluent English speaker and writer.Overall , Very impressed with the quality.
