Can you just wear head band and no ear plugs? Like will it keep water out or you have wear both?

Ear plugs needs to be used as well to block water. A combination of the ear plugs and Ear Band-It provides maximum protection from water. Thanks for your interest!

We only used it with earplugs in the pool so I am not sure

Anyone do club swim and use this or the original? My teen swims 5x a week and competes, need to keep h2o out until eardrum heals.

I usually just use the band when I wash my son’s hair and use the plugs with the head band when I know he is going to be submerged in water (in the pool)
