Thin cutting boards can warp and your knife edge no longer makes full contact. This board will not warp.

If you are buying it as a Cutting Board - it's Perfect! But I bought it to make resistance band base plate. The boards is not 1" (25.4mm), it's ~15/16" (~24mm), in case you are buying for crafting something out of it and need precise dimension. Surface is textured and not smooth (good), bevels are not big (not good), maybe 1/8-3/16 radius and I would have to figure out how to make radius bigger, otherwise it might dig into bands.
