Williams Chili Seasoning Mix 18 oz

I never realized how expensive chili powder can be! I've seen some brands going for as much as $10 for less than a third of what you get here! This also tastes at least 50x better than those kinds. This chili seasoning is incredibly flavorful and aromatic. Not much heat for those cat-tongued among us, but it does have a wonderful spice flavor. One of my favorite things is that it's sodium-free and only lists four ingredients: chili powder, spices, dehydrated garlic, and dehydrated onion. Nothing weird or chemical! This is an absolute steal for the cost considering the quality of it and just how much you get. It says it makes 85 servings!! I've had this for going on 5 months and have only used about a fourth of it, maybe less. And that's with making several big batches of chili to eat at work all week and one big chili-cookoff. I highly recommend Amazon Prime for this since it qualifies for free shipping with that and less than $7 for more than a pound of top-quality chili seasoning can't be passed-up!

At one time there was a product called Grandma's Chili. It was manufactured in Lenexa, KS. For some reason, while it was one of the best Chili's ever, it was discontinued. I felt there was a relation when I spotted Williams Chili and noted it too is manufactured in Lenexa, KS. Well, this chili, if not the same formula, is so good that it might as well be. I am on my 3rd or 4th jar and I have given it to another chili lover as a gift. Don't be put off by the price. This is QUALITY and the flavor is SUPERB! One jar will last, depending on your appetite, for quite awhile. Life is too short to put up with lesser stuff. As a regular user I strongly recommend it.

Love this seasoning for it's flavor and value. Also like the the fact I can control the amount of salt in my chili as this has no salt added. I use 4 tbsp of seasoning per lb of ground beef and it's perfect.

I like the flavor and it mixes well. I like to control how spicy my chili is so I add other products to increase the heat and my wife can have this product and not burn her mouth.

This is straight up... nothing weird... chili flavor. A slight kick. I really don't taste salt. It needs something, I added a little brown sugar to the chili with the mix and it was good. I'd recommend this as one of the better chili spices - but you'll have to "make" your chili your own by adding that something you like.

Really helps makes my chili, Chili.However, next time around, I will get their Organic version. Nothing wrong with this, I just prefer organic. The price is equivalent.

This is a very good Chili Seasoning. It is not too spicy. I use 9 heaping tablespoons with 3 pounds of meat, 2 large onions, 2 bell peppers, 10 cloves of garlic, and 9 cans of fire-roasted tomatoes. (4 cans pureed in a blender) That will get you about 1.5 gallons of mild chili. Add cayenne and hot peppers to taste. This is the only sodium-free Chili Seasoning I know of. If you are watching your salt intake, this is the way to go.
