I got this for my wife that uses SD memory cards in her camera. This a great way to keep them together and, she only has 4 memory cards but this holds eight so we should be good for a long to,e. There are also slots within each SD slot for a micro SD card, but we only have the normal size SD cards. My wife and really happy with the look and feel of the shiny case and looks to be able to be thrown into a camera bag and snaps closed very well.

See the pics :: this card holder is an important part of my portable audio system. I'm in the process of converting my extensive CD library onto SD cards, putting different genres on 32G cards. So some means of housing and organization is mandatory, but I needed something small. This card holder is the perfect size for my needs. I only gave 2 stars for easy removal - but that may be harsh because I admit I have lumberjack hands. It's not easy for me to get the microSD cards in and out of the hard wells - I fear I'll snap them. But it has been working so far with some care. As a housing, it actually offers 16 microSD card slots if you put 8 into SD adapters. I plan to make a paper cutout that maps content to slots, and simply leave it in the box as an index.

This product is a very nice holder for storing your SD cards and it looks well made.

It's made for 8 Micro SD cards and 8 SD cards, which means if you have 16 Micro SD cards and 8 adapters, you can fit 16 Micro SD cards in here. And it all fits very neatly, whether it's an SD card/adapter or a Micro SD card. The outer shell appears to be aluminum or something like it. It can probably bend with enough pressure, but it's more that ready to take a short tumble and keep everything contained inside intact. It's fairly easy to get the cards in and out of the case. The micro SD cards can sometimes take a little finessing to get to sit flush on the first try, but nothing crazy. SD cards and adapters snap neatly and easily in place, like a puzzle piece.

This case, as small as a typical empty man’s wallet, is perfect to hold a small quantity of micro SD cards and standard SD cards (or the micro SD adapter cards). The plastic inset is very accurate in its dimensions to meld perfectly with the micro SD cards form. As noted by other reviewers, it is a very tight fit. I used my finger nail to gently twist under the top edge of the micro SD card to pry it out. This case is also just the right size in that carving out one of the slots by removing the semi-soft plastic inset tray, I made room to store a USB adapter for reading/writing to the micro SD cards as my primary application for them is being used as OS drives for the Raspberry Pi micro computer boards. The metal exterior is a nice touch to keep the contents safer, and ground them from potential electrostatic issues although it is again just a thin sheet over a hard plastic compact style case. The case holds 8 of each card type, and when closed is very secure. You have to press fairly hard on the side button to open it.

I've had this for over a year and it works perfectly. It does not pop open on its own, nor do the cards come out of their slots as reported for other cases for sale here. I'm getting a second one today.
