Kitchen folk, get rid of your clogs already
Seriously folks, if you're a professional and wearing clogs, you're damaging your feet and back more than you know.Clogs were designed for standing in the same place for long hours. If you're a kitchen pro, when's the last time you actually stood still for hours? Working on your feet and standing for hours are two completely different things!Enter the slip-on by Emeril. I've been in the industry for over 25 years, and have worn everything from Danskos, Braskos, Calzuros, Troentorps, Båstads, Toffelns & Moheda clogs... even some very obscure ones that I bought while traveling through Sweden... and they all did one thing really well: support your arch while standing in place. But as soon as you start to do the kitchen sprint, then your toes will eventually hate you since all your momentum goes straight to the front of the clog when you need to stop. Plantar fasciitis? Oh yeah... that too. Plantar worts? Sure, why not?! See a trend?Lower that heal, wrap your entire foot with a proper shoe so that it travels with you, and you'll add many more steps to your kitchen grind.

No go, 86'd
I am a chef in a busy kitchen and wore these shoes 6 days a week, 15 hour shifts for two weeks straight, nothing unusual for me or any chef. For those that can relate and from my perspective these shoes are a joke. They lasted 2 weeks and i threw them out due to holes in the soles and tearing away from the bottoms. The best thing about them was that they did fit perfectly and as described.

Poor Quality, Poor design.
This shoe falls apart after a couple months of wearing (the sole is separating and is already worn through). If you are on your feet a lot, do not buy these shoes. Spend the extra money and buy nike or shoes for crews.

Non-slippery & comfortable, bad quality.
I use it to work as a food-runner/expeditor in a restaurant. They’re comfortable and truly nonslip but they broke down only after six months of use (that is, only using it three days a week). Not what I expected (quality-wise).

Support on the back but not so much on the front
I had high expectation for this shoe, it's made by a cook for people in the service industry like me. They are not the best looking she's out there but that's fine, what really made me dislike them is that there is no support for the front part of the foot, all the support is towards the heel so my feet hurt after working a 14 hour shift. I have had other shoes that have given me better support and a 14 hour shift would not be a problem. Too bad I can't return them as I am buying Keens or rockports today or tomorrow.

Slipper like comfort with limited structure
I purchased for the name recognition and quality of Emeril's products. The shoe initially was snug but day 3 a comfortable fit. It is almost a slipper like fit. Slip resistant and light weight... very little structure so using your feet to push/ lift by toes or kick is painful. Otherwise fantastic. BAM!

Emeril's quality must be slipping...
My husband like his first pair of these so much he ordered another when they wore out. The second pair, although as comfortable as the first, has not lasted nearly as long. Started looking rough within a few weeks, worn in the same kitchen as the first. Disappointing.

Durable and good water resistance.
I was hesitant to make this purchase merely because of the name attached, but I was pleasantly surprised. I've had these shoes for more than six months now and I'm yet to see any real wear on them. No busted seams and the sole is holding up well. These are also quite comfortable. Granted after hour ten of course my feet start getting sore, but my feet and knees are aching like they did with my other shoes. I plan on seeing how long they last and I will likely stick with these until a better product is presented.
