When I first bought an African net sponge, I was totally duped into getting a fake. However, this SubSahara Authentic African Net Sponge is the real deal! It has become the very first step in my shower routine because it deep cleans, removes dead skin, and preps my skin for hydration every time. I wanted to wait a couple weeks to review this product because I wanted a good feel for it. Well it's been a few weeks and I can honestly say we love this product. My husband is oilfield and the store bought loofahs wouldn't last more than a week. I came to find out how much bacteria they hold too which is gross! This product is the opposite! The quality is amazing! They hang to dry, smell better and ease to clean those hard to reach places like your back! They are soft and just all around effective for the whole family! Definitely worth the money!

I was hoping this was a high quality, genuine African net sponge but know there are a lot of fakes. These have hand tied knots and are not cheap. Using this instead of a loofah makes you feel so much cleaner and leaves skin so soft!

For these for my partner for Christmas and she loves them! They are durable, and leave the skin feeling very smooth and clean. It’s very high quality and I’m definitely going to get a set for myself. They don’t smell bad and we love that we can throw them in the washer to clean them!

Looooove these. I kept getting suggestions for African net sponges on tiktok and caved but bought it from here. I feel very exfoliated when I scrub with these. I have some minor mobility issues and these make it easier to reach my back, legs, and feet. They feel cleaner than a loofah as they rinse way easier. There's no funky smell, the net is maintaining it's shape, and the length makes it easy to wrap around and scrub. I have considered getting these as gifts for other people and will likely cave and do that eventually.

The olive green and light green combo I received looks fresh and adds a nice touch to my bathroom setup. * Quick drying and travel-friendly — it doesn’t hold water like a traditional loofah or washcloth, making it more hygienic and easy to pack. ⚠️ WHAT COULD BE BETTER * It’s shorter than the authentic African net sponges I’ve used before, which makes it a bit harder to get that full back scrub. * While it does offer gentle exfoliation, I was hoping for something just a bit rougher for that true “scrubbed clean” feeling. * A little disappointing to see that it’s made in China, not Africa, despite the branding — something to keep in mind if authenticity matters to you. ✅ THE BOTTOM LINE If you’re looking for a durable, stretchy, quick-drying bath sponge that gently exfoliates and looks good too, this is a solid pick — especially for the price and the fact that it comes as a 2-pack. But if you’ve used true African net sponges before, you might find this version a little softer and shorter than expected. Hope this helps others find the right sponge for their self-care routine!

This purchase changed my exfoliation game. It’s textured enough to clear bumpy skin but not so harsh that it hurts like some exfoliants. It still makes my soap foamy and it’s easy to clean because of the netting. Don’t have to worry about smell because it dries easily. Never going back to a regular loofah again!

These are AMAZING full body scrubbers! They dry quickly, you're able to rinse the soap off completely & carry less bacteria than say a lufa due to these two things. Highly recommend ! Skin feels so nice after using and does work up a really nice lather. Plus I can finally reach all areas of my back with ease!

Doesn't come in box (these were meant to be a gift), comes in plastic bag. Cheaply made, straight from china with thin strings (no travel bag either). My bad for not checking the return policy, would have returned these if it wasn't $7 just too return. Shop elsewhere!
