Arch support too far back on the heel
I was so excited that I'd finally found some sandals that seemed to have good high arch support. But when I tried them on, the support was too far back, and at the front of the heel not on the arch. I don't know if I had a dud pair? My feet are not an unusual shape so I just don't get why the sandals fit so badly. Sent them back for a refund.

They’re fine, it’s just the same complaint I’ve always had. 6 is too small, 7 is a little bit too long. Really wish there was a 6.5.

This is my 4th pair of Z1 Chacos. Each pair has lasted three years (and I wear them almost every day from May-October.) They are comfortable and well-made. I walk and hike frequently during the summer and these work for almost all trail conditions. I was happy to find this pair, as I like the webbing (strap) color and design more than the current standard options on the Chacos website. I was also very happy with the price, as I've paid full-price for my previous pairs.

I love the versatility of these sandals. I can go on a hike and dive straight into a lake or trounce across a river without having to take off my shoes. They are amazing. Slightly bulky, but they are essentially hiking boots - just the sole of one and some straps. I wear them all day and love them. As for the no toe strap... I debated this for a long time. I finally decided not to get it because I tried them both on and the no toe strap just felt more comfortable. I would enjoy having more control with the toe strap, but comfort exceeds all else for me. I can still easily hike in them and have no troubles (also I can wear socks :) Great sandal. Very sturdy

Returned because the size 8 felt like a 6 1/2. I own many Chacos and never had this Issue. Weird.
