Seems like coco coir to me but maybe is special?
Seems like coco coir, I'm not sure how to measure the nutrient content or dust content, but it didn't seem "dusty" to me. It retains moisture very well and some of my seeds came up in days. I used the 5-pack of 3x4 cells with moisture-retaining hoods. How do you measure how durability it is? I don't know. The size is compressed, so it grows a lot, like me when the college jogging team comes by. I'm sure it has nutrients.

Good starter Mix
Works great for a base for new seeds My only minor complaint isbthat the bag it came in wass too small to fill up with water and rehydrate the mix. Other than that, the mix works great. And my seeds are growing good.

Quality Product
This is a good seed starting compound. It arrives as a compressed hard block. Just cut the top off the bag and pour in about a gallon and a half of water. It expands to about 3 times its original size. You can user it straight out of the bag or pour it into a container. It works great and retains the moisture needed for the plants. It has the needed nutrients for the plants. My plants are looking great its definitely worth the money.

Great product. Watch for price increases.
I really like this product. My seeds are coming up really well. I have used it in pots as well as trying my hand at seed snails. It was a real good value for the price. I only took away one star because I went to order another package and it went from $7.99 to $11.99 in a week. I'm not thrilled about that.

Perfect in every way
I admit, I chose this seed starter because the price was best, but what a pleasant surprise! The packaging allows for super easy rehydration without having to find another container for the process. It rehydrates quickly, yeilding the perfect consistency and content for seed starting. My seedlings are very happy!

Excellent for Seed Starting
It's a good amount of coconut coir for the price. I'm seeing great germination rates. Awesome drainage and good moisture retention. Got a little bit of mold starting, but my seedling trays are covered, so the mold is unavoidable. 10/10 will purchase again.

Easy to use light weight
Awesome !!! Very good and easy to rehydrate mine took a little over a gallon and a half super light weight! Was able to fill 10 18-count egg cartons and barely make a dent in the pack so far I have had spinach, Brussels, arugula, and broccoli sprout in between 2 and 4 days after planting adding nothing to amend it !
