Big Train Mocha Blend Iced Coffee Low Carb Mocha Frappe Mix is one of the easiest ways to meet your chocolate commitment. We use the finest Arabica coffee and enjoy chocolate iced coffee flapes that taste the same as a regular mocha flape. All you need is water, ice and a blender. Big Train Low Carb Mocha Blend Iced Coffee Mix is filled with rich chocolate flavors and contains no sugar, not an important source of trans fat Review: I’ve bought many low carb items and despite glowing reviews, they are typically disappointing. This mocha mix is delicious! Love it for frozen blended and hot! Haven’t tried iced yet but I’m sure it will be yummy. i find the full scoop is a bit sweet for my liking so I use about 3/4. I use cold brewed coffee instead of water and a tsp of instant espresso powder for a great coffee mocha! Cost seemed high but it’s a good sized canister and compared to $7 frappacinos, it’s a bargain. i already bought another and plan to try vanilla next. Highly recommend :) Review: I am a mocha frappe addict. I drink a frappe every day and as everyone knows frappes are like a billion calories with a matching number for carbs. So I begrudgingly ordered this "healthier" version before I had to buy a new wardrobe. The can sat undisturbed on my counter as I threw a side glance at it while I fixed my real frappe each day. Finally I broke down and opened the can, I was scared of the amount of nasty I was about to force myself to drink. I blended one up per the instructions on the can and took a big sip....huh I'm not running to spit it out. It's not bad, I'm not gonna lie and say is just as good as the fully loaded ones but c'mon, you gotta be reasonable. It really is good for the low carb label. I can see myself drinking this instead of my usual on a daily basis. It blends well and had good flavor. I actually do recommend this for anyone who wants that frappe goodness without all the carbs. It is a little pricy but it really is worth it if you are like me and refuse to buy new jeans..... Update: I drink these every day at work, I love them and can't stand the fully loaded ones anymore. I have these on auto delivery and do not ever plan on being without it!!!

This stuff is great! It is perfectly sweet, a great treat that won't ruin your diet or figure. I was afraid, being low-carb and low-sugar, that it might have a bitter taste, but it doesn't . . . not at all. I drink mine iced. I just use a small shaker bottle, shake up some powder and milk, and then add some ice. I am then instantly transported to a nice beach town where I can sit in the sun and enjoy my refreshing treat. If you are looking for a healthier version of an iced mocha that tastes great, here it is!

The listing title above is incorrect, it's not called Low Carb, it's called Carb Conscious as you can see on the can. This review will cover that product, along with information on the other Big Train options. Big Train makes the best frappe mixes in my opinion. I've tried lots of their varieties, all delicious. BUT they all have sugar and lots of carbs. Big Train has addressed that by offering No sugar added Mocha, Carb Conscious Mocha and now a Reduced Sugar Mocha. The Carb Conscious has the least amount of carbs, 12, but 7 are sugar alcohol and 1 is fiber, leaving a net of 4 carbs. HOWEVER, it's loaded with erythritol which can cause gastric issues for many people. I'd rather they used a different sweetener that doesn't t have these side effects such as allulose, stevia or even sucralose. The flavor of the Carb Conscious is good, but not anywhere as good as their sugar frappes. Still if you're craving a frappe without all the sugar this will work and there really are no viable alternatives. I've tried nearly everything out there over the years and still come back to this. Sometimes when I want a richer flavor, I will take one scoop Carb Conscious Mocha frappe and one scoop Ketologie chocolate protein shake mix, blend with 10 oz water or milk and 2 glasses of ice. You get 2 good sized servings or a very large single and it's really, really good. You do end up with fat from the Ketologie, but still no sugar. Anyway, for the flavor and lowest carbs, Carb Conscious frappe is the only one I know of. As to big Train's other options, No sugar added and Low sugar, No sugar added has 25 carbs, 1 gram fiber, net 24 carbs. The flavor is better, but you're getting 20 more carbs than in the Carb Conscious. Then there's the reduced sugar mocha frappe, it has 42 carbs, 5 sugars and 1 fiber, so a net of 41 carbs! That's the same amount of carbs in their regular frappes with sugar. So again, you're back to the Carb Conscious as the only viable choice if you don't want a ton of carbs. Big Train does have one other option their Fit Frappe Mocha coffee protein drink, which of course has protein and has 8 net carbs. I've tried several bags, but they just don't taste like a frappe to me. So there you have it. I have been searching frappe options for 10 years, and as far as I know this is the best low carb option out there. I will continue my search though because I want a better sweetener than erythritol and I want the true flavor you get with sugar. Haven't found it in 10 years, but who knows, maybe someday.

I have been ordering the 1.85 pound tin of this for years, it is fantastic. I use it to make coffee protein shakes and the shakes turn out nice and thick. This tin has slowly risen in price over the years so I looked for an alternative. I was surprised to find that the 3 pound bag was cheaper than the 1.85 pound tin so I ordered that instead. The package graphics are exactly the same, so I thought I was getting the same product. But when I opened the bag I instantly noticed that the powder looked different. And the shake did not blend up as thick. I compared the ingredients on the back of the packaging and found out they are vastly different. The 3 pound bag is basically a completely different product. It is not a bad product but it is in no shape or form the same product that comes in the tin. Too bad the only difference on the packaging is the ingredient list. In my opinion the version in the tub is 100 percent better, so if you find yourself in my situation just be careful, the products are not the same. UPDATE 8/25 Looks like they did a stealth site update because now the ingredients pictured on the tin on the website match the bag, so I am guessing Big Train changed the recipe and it took a while for Amazon to update the website pictures. I bought another tin hoping to get the old recipe but was heartbroken when I compared ingredients to the bagged version and they are now the same, but I could instantly tell when I opened the tin it was the same as the bag. Another great product changes its recipe, I assume because its cheaper to make, then hikes the price. I will no longer buy Big Train if the only reason I was buying it has now been removed.
