Why did you pick this product vs others?: Quality product, absolutely quiet. Good water flow as well. Has space to add some filter media as well. Surface skimmer work perfectly - must for planted aquariums

The skimmer is working perfectly. At first, it was not rotating, but I added some weight, and it started spinning. After a day, I removed the weight, and it is working perfectly.

Good performance, but build quality could be better Overall, this is a good product with excellent filtration and ultra-quiet operation—perfect for planted tanks. The surface skimmer works well but tends to sink down over time, so I often have to lift it back up manually. The build quality is just average. The plastic feels brittle, and the pipes can easily crack if you apply too much pressure, so handle with care during installation. Also, if you're using a light stand on your aquarium, keep in mind that the filter’s hang-on-back design might interfere with how your light is mounted—so plan accordingly. Still, despite a few flaws, it does the job well and runs quietly.
