Amazon Essentials Women's Jersey Regular-Fit Ballet-Back t-Shirt Dress (Previously Daily Ritual)

Love this dress! It's cool and comfortable, doesn't wrinkle, hangs/drapes nicely on the body and can be worn with the scoop neck in the front or the back. Material is not see-through at all. I'm 5'7" and it hits me at the top of the knee. Can be dressed up or down with accessories and you really could wear it for anything from errands to the office. Would be great for traveling too! Hand wash cold, hang dry. (Could also wash it in a lingerie bag in the machine on cold, still hang dry.) Bought the XL based on bust size, but I think I could have worn a Large. If you're in between sizes, size down. It doesn't have pockets, but that's actually a plus as they can make this sort of dress hang oddly or appear at your waist or thigh instead of the hip. Highly recommend getting a few colors!

This is a good option for a casual dress at a reasonable price. It is rather like a long t-shirt with a scoop in the back. I would not wear it to work or even out in public at all because of the casual/back-revealing qualities, but I also understand that these are not issues (perhaps even desirable) for many other women, depending upon lifestyle. However, I bought it to sleep in, and it is perfect for that purpose, as it is soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I find that the sizing is much larger than expected. I normally wear a 10-12 in dresses, and the medium is quite loose on me; the sleeves fall off of my shoulders when I move, for example. Again, I bought it as a nightgown, so that's not such an issue for me. If I buy another, I will just get a small. I would recommend this if you're looking for a comfortable nightgown or very casual dress.

I usually take a M (form fitting) or L (regular fit) in Amazon stretchy dresses but got this in XL, it is very loose. I will launder and dry regularly (warm/hot) to see if it’ll shrink. But for now it’s very cool, thin material but not see through, it’s my fault for getting the size that was on discount lol. But I love it, the back makes it interesting. No pockets. Very comfortable on a hot day! Edit: I laundered (actually used cool water/tumble dry low) and it shrunk probably half a size… and I like it a lot better!

I thought I was ordering a shade of pink, but the color is closer to a pink/rust shade, too brown for me. The fabric is very soft and comfortable, but it's always slightly wrinkled. I'm wearing it under a large jacket, because I'm not comfortable with it by itself.

I went on amazon to purchase a few different t-shirt dresses from different companies. I work from home so I wanted to wear something comfortable day to day, but still look nice when I leave the house for errands. This dress is soft, and in ways more "elegant" than your average t-shirt dress because of the lower neckline, and backline. It's so easy to slip on and still look presentable. I found it very flattering for my body. i am 6ft tall, about 180 pounds and purchase a large. If you are also 6ft tall but weigh less, you may want to consider a medium. the dress ends hits the middle of my upper thigh. Not too short.

Did not like fit and material seemed cheap. It was not flattering. I want to return it, but when I tried to take it to Whole Foods as directed by Amazon, they wanted me to get a return label and then bring it back to them. I have been too sick and Amazon has not responded to my requests for assistance. Will not order clothing from Amazon again as it has never been what I expected and was returned or given away. Now I’m having difficulty making this return because Whole Foods wants a return label. If I can get that, I hope I can mail the dress to Amazon before the cut-off date.

You can wear it over a swimsuit, or to a nice dinner. Super-versatile, comfortable dress for any occasion. I am 5'7" and I love the length and fit of the dress. It's a dress that would be a staple item for traveling while packing light. It can be paired with tennis shoes, sandals, or heels, depending on the look you want. I also found the care to be simple. Once I hand washed it (necessity, not want) and it dried perfectly. Another time my husband accidentally dried it, and it maintained shape and size. I am extremely happy with this item.

I thought 100% cotton from this brand would be really soft and comfortable, but these shirts are pretty scratchy. The seams are very pronounced, so if you have sensory issues I don't recommend them. The fabric also isn't as thick as I would expect from a nightgown, it's sort of like inexpensive t-shirt material. Overall disappointing.

Terrible clingy fabric, no weight or shape to fabric. Not recommend.

Facile à porter

The dress looks nice on me (size 16/18) and it shapes my body nicely. However, the fabric of the dress is below average. I wore it the whole day and I could see it was peeling on the internal side near my chest and armpit. Definitely not what I expect from a summer dress. Not worthy the price (£17) due to this issue. Cannot return as I wore it and it’s ready for being washed but would not buy it again not recommend it.
