Will this product write on wax paper that has greasy food? Sometimes the oil leaks through, its destroying every marker I use to label them.

Unfortunately the wax from the China Marker would wipe right off of the wax paper once applied. That is not one of our recommended surfaces for the product. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We use these where I work to redact confidential information, do these cover print well? I’ve bought some that were too see through.

In general yes, they do cover print well. Having said that, it might be worth testing first. If print paper is a bit on the glossy side you can sometimes just wipe it off but it really depends on the paper. I have used them for years for covering up addresses on labels, letters, etc. and have had very few instances where they didn't work. Hope this helps.

Is the stated lengh of 4.87" correct? Seems like it should be about 8" like a standard pencil.
