This is the only pillow that has helped my shoulder pain. As a side sleeper, the pain from my body weight would wake me up. I started sleeping with a pillow under my torso to lessen the pressure, which helped. This wedge with the hole for the arm has helped tremendously. I find the body pillow, which we have nicknamed the candy cane, is too thick and causes my neck to hurt. It is also very heavy, so you can't easily switch sides. You are definitely very awake after readjusting your body, arm and this pillow. This pillow wedge is extremely wide. You really need a king size bed for it to fit. Your hand and arm may get cold as it's difficult to get covers on them with the wedge holding them up in the air. Pros: 1. Works great for side sleepers. 2. Well constructed. Cons: 1. Price 2. Body pillow too cumbersome. I wish this was sold without the body pillow.

I needed this pillow because I was in pain, and it did help alleviate it. However, it created other problems. If you're short waisted, the small size still won't work for you. I have to wake up every time I need to move just to make sure the pillow is below my waist. Otherwise, my hip will push the bottom of the pillow up into my armpitit up into my armpit... Causing my arm to fall asleep. Not very restful. If you have concerns about hair breakage. These pillowcases are made out of something similar to a terry cloth/microfiber, I am confident it was breaking my hair off on my temples. If you like to wear moisturizers and other facial products to sleep they're all going to get rubbed off with these pillowcases. They are not product friendly just because of the terry cloth / microfiber material. And finally, the body pillow pillowcase is next to impossible to put on. The zipper is about a foot short on the long side of the pillow. I want to give this a one star rating solely because of the effort that's involved sleeping on it and washing the pillowcases every week. Because of my short waist, attempting to try and get the pillowcases to work, and the amount of rest I lose trying to readjust myself on this pillow. However, it did help me with my shoulder pain. It's not something I would sleep with year-round.

I have tried for ages to sleep on my back, but it just doesn't work out - I always wake up on my side or stomach. this pillow keeps me in one position on my side, and my shoulders and arms have been hurting a lot less since I'm not squishing them under a pillow while trying to sleep on my side - haven't woken up in pain from that since I started using it. both pillows are firm, but malleable enough to adjust to where you are most comfortable holding onto it, where you put your knees, where your head rests, etc. they come with one case already, but I got the set with another set of covers so I can switch them out when I want to wash and not have to wait for them to be clean to set up for sleep or a nap. I will admit the cases take a little time to put on, as I tested, but once you get it started it's very easy. overall I love the pillow. extremely worth it for a good night's sleep.

I’ve had for almost a year now and I do love it. Had a hard time starting out with all of it and my back ached a little the first days but now it’s great. The pillow cases are soft and in summer to warm so I made some normal material pillow cases for the big J body pillow. In the winter I have been just using the soft ones that come with it. I toss and turn a lot and I think I’m rubbing the softness bare on the wedge bottom but I got 2 cases and I plan to figure out how to get the normal Cotten case to go over for summer cause I am a warm person and cool material is better in summer. I have an idea of what I’m going to do. All and all I do love the pillow and the wedge is still in it’s proper shape which I worried about since I’m a heavy person.

Ill start by saying that initially the pillows seemed comfortable. The hole for your arm does relieve the pressure from your shoulder at night. As I used it for a few months I realized the flaws that made me regret spending $300 on this pillow set. The body pillow that comes with it is comfortable except for your neck. It doesn't have neck support. Ive thought about cutting into it and sewing it back together. I need high neck support but with my head being able to drop on the other side. This pillow leaves your neck at a 45 degree angle all night. The wedge pillow only leaves about 2 inches above the armhole. Which is up too high. I either have to add a pillow between the wedge and headboard or just not use it. There is a small part of the pillow that keeps your arm in the hole which is restricting. The concept is great but it needs a better design. Also, why white covers? They get dirty so fast. I paid extra for the second set of pillow cases. An extra $40 watsed. I past the return date and now it is in my closet. I bought another pillow. *sigh*
