株を長期保有することを推奨する堅実路線の入門書です。一獲千金を狙っている人向けではありません。どれくらい堅実かというと、初心者は個別の銘柄ではなくインデックス投資の方が良いとか、若いころから始めて配当金を株の買い増しに回していけば、一生の間に100万ドルの資産が形成できる、といった感じの堅実さです。書籍の後半にはデイトレーディングに関する記載も出てきますが、売買を繰り返して利ザヤを稼ぐということではなく、著者独自の理論に基づく堅実な方法となっています。日本の株式市場で本書のノウハウがどれくらい当てはまるか不明ですが、一つの考え方として楽しく読めました。

日本人の英語を勉強している人におすすめの本です。ただし、投資に興味がないと面白くはないと思います。とても読みやすく、投資の勉強ができますし、より難しい本へのステップアップにも適していると思います。
