This review is for the newer Solar Powered Landscape Spotlight, with 5-volt solar panel and 3.7-volt rechargeable battery. The sellers description claims the spotlight will illuminate up to 35-feet distance (illustration depicts a tall flagpole brightly illuminated), spotlight remaining illuminated for 6-hours (max brightness) or 10-hours (min brightness), and full charge in 5-6 hours. The 2-pack spotlight package had a users manual (2-pages) that has useful information concerning the two power modes which is much more detailed. The "10 hours light" mode provides 50% brightness for the first 5 hours and 25% dim light for the latter 5 hours. The "6 hours light" mode provides 100% brightness for the first 3 hours and 50% brightness for the latter 3 hours. Had I known of this illumination limitation I would not have purchased this item. The descriptive name "Spotlight" is misleading; a more accurate name would be "Floodlight". I purchased this 2-pack to illuminate the 7-inch white house numbers on a brown brick wall about 15-feet from this "spotlight", however, instead of a narrow bright spotlight illumination these lamps provided a wide faint floodlight style illumination which did very little to accentuate the house numbers. I had the "10-hour light" mode selected, charged them in full Florida sunlight for about 16-hours (turned off at night, back on the next day), turning them to get max sun light about ever 2-hours, and neither spotlight was illuminated at 4:00 AM the next morning when I checked on them. Knowing that the performance of these lights will only diminish over time and that they were not satisfactory for my needs under their best efforts now, I returned them for a full refund. Great product that is reasonably priced. Ordered the two-light set to properly illuminate a new United States flag on our dock. The lights were delivered quickly and undamaged. Instructions for installation and operation were clear and easy to understand. I attached each fixture to a separate dock piling and oriented the LEDs to shine upward toward the flag. I haven't yet tried to photograph it at night, but the flag is easily seen at night from more than 200 feet away.
