If you're really attached to the screw that bolts the top down, this may not be for you. I purchased this for a place where 100s of smokers use it daily. Maybe whomever has to empty this daily didn't like unscrewing this or perhaps someone wanted the screw for a necklace. Who knows? But it did disappear after a couple of weeks. Thankfully I bought a car cover cable lock to lock the whole thing to a tree. It works well, hasn't caught on fire and the top stays firmly attached even without the little screw. I guess it depends on your clientele as to whether you'll keep the screw or not but it doesn't really need it - unless someone wants to steal just the top. But they could easily just unscrew it if they really just want the top. Not sure why anyone would unless they're planning on wearing it on their head...

We removed old rusted ashtrays/garbage cans and ordered this large ashtray for our new smoking area. It looks classy and will hold many more butts. Very happy about the look and sturdiness, thanks!

Works really good for our bar and grille. Only complaint (and not even the company's fault) is it started smoking really bad one day and I got a cup of water and dumped it down the tube because I read reviews that some people had the tube melt but turns out some customer used it as a normal garbage and threw a napkin down it and a hot cigarette was touching it... So if there is any chance the company could help people gain common sense... Haha!!
