I have a ten gallon tank for my turtle Viserys, she is small so she doesn't need a big tank, even though i will get one. She struggles to get on it sometimes, but for the most part, she is always on it! She jumps off of it like its the most fun thing, and she loves taking her snacks from the small food area on the terrace, and jumps into the water with it. She gives her little chubby arms a great workout! The terrace is a good size, I thought it would be sooo small from the pics, but no, its the opposite! My turtle's shell is about 2. 3 inches, if anyone is wondering. I would recommend this! The suction cups need to be dried to go on completely, i have made that mistake many times. Hope you buy it!

took some moving around and adjusting but after some trial and error turtle is psyched. has spent most of the last 2 days sitting on it basking in the light. it was cute to watch him feel it out too. only been a couple days but so far we are all very pleased. if it sucks in the future ill let you know. but seems to be a pretty legit ass product. would def buy again. has the fancy screw on suction cups too. my turtle is getting pretty big and he fits on it perfect. not too heavy for it. def get it.

I’ve been using this for three months now and it works great. It sticks to the wall of my tank well, and my turtle is able to climb onto it as long as the water is high enough. If the water is more than an inch below the platform she has a hard time climbing up. For reference, my turtle’s shell is about 3” long and she’s about a year old. It did take her about three days to finally start using the platform, but now she’s up there almost all day. I’d definitely recommend this basking platform!

Good idea. But ramp size too small for medium to large size turtle. Only meant for small/baby turtles. Too short for larger turtles to climb up.

Got two pieces for my RES turtles. I love that you can position it anywhere at any height you want. The turtles enjoy it as they use it to bask. My turtles are about 6-8 inches big and it holds them perfectly. I just wish they were a little bigger so that the turtles can enjoy them for longer as they grow more.

Attached easily to the side of the tank, supports the weight of 6" turtles.The downside is the slots for drainage and traction on the ramp are large enough that one of my 4" red ear sliders got his jaw stuck in it. Luckily I saw it and was able to free him. It took nearly 12 hours before he could close his mouth again but he is doing fine now.
