After five years, a second
Purchased my first in September 2017; it just conked out (won't charge anymore). I was happy to again buy the same product, as it is bright, easy to install/use and a good value. Now I have handlebar mounts on both my regular bike and ebike, and can swap the headlight between them. An excellent and affordable safety investment. (Although I think it would also work well for nighttime illumination, I use it for daytime visibility.) Please recycle this item when it's exhausted, through Amazon's free program, as lithium batteries do not belong in landfills!

I got set "C" which is great, seems like you should avoid set "A"
It looks like they might have done a better job of separating out the "Set A & B" versions of these lights because of all the issues with them. I got the set "C" which includes both front and rear rechargeable lights and since the back light was brighter than any of the other version. They're both nice, bright, and easy to use. The back could be a little brighter, but even those expensive bike shop lights aren't any brighter.Charged them on a direct to plug converter usb to mini-usb and haven't had any issues with them retaining power long enough for my night rides (although I'm not out for that long, it just gets so dark so early in the North...)My biggest grips are the installation of the front mount. Once on it's nice and easy to use, but took me way longer to get that thing on there than I would have thought...but once it's on there it's been very sturdy.

It works for mobility scooter
The media could not be loaded. The price was right for me with this little light. I wanted it for my scooter at night. The “hardware” for installing the headlight gave away quickly and I ended up using a heavy rubber band. They do not tell you the taillight is battery operated, so I found that out by trial and error. The taillight was easy to install. Don’t count on the instructions to be helpful; they are pretty useless. Headlight lasts a decent amount of time on a charge. If you don’t want to spend a lot, I’d say this works well if you are able to figure some things out and be creative on your own. If you find my review helpful would you check the box so others may see it? Thank you!

Light works great we have been using them for the past month ...
the web site might be a bit unclear it lead me to believe that all of the lights are USB rechargeable when it is just the front lights the back light takes a regular battery. No big deal but might want to make that clear. Light works great we have been using them for the past month and they provide great light when we ride in the dark

Good basic/value light
VERY bright light. This is probably brighter than my higher-end Bontrager light. I do not like the mounting system very well, but it serves the intended purpose. I did a night ride with a bike group and this light didn't last as long as my other light that I had with my fortunately. The tail light is pretty weak. It requires a battery as well, so I consider it a throw-away basically because I don't intend to keep replacing batteries especially when it isn't that bright.

Bright enough
Bright enough Mind you I bought five of them which is compatible to using a couple of the night rider lights don’t think that they compete one for one but they are light I run into on the handlebars into on my helmetWhen you run all three on high it gets the job done

This is not only an excellent light in terms of performance
This is not only an excellent light in terms of performance, but also a great value too. You could install it blindfolded and it is incredibly bright and in a small package. One small thing I really like is that when the battery needs charging, the top turn-on light blinks red, but you still have an hour, maybe more of bright light left. You can also just slide it off its mounting and use it as a flashlight.

Bright
Seems like a pretty bright headlight. Wish the strobe was a little faster. Had to use channel locks to squeeze the mounting bracket enough to get the screw started when putting it on my road bike.
