I haven't installed it yet, but pleasantly surprised at what arrived. Magnification is definitely high (*listed at 10x, one of the photos says 5x, some reviews complained...but mine is definitely 10X or higher), and this is larger than almost every other similar mirror I found available - the mirror portion itself is 7 inches wide, and the mirror frame is 9 inches. Happy and relieved, I'll try to update once I actually install this and start using it. ALSO, this is one of the very few mirrors of this type that can be plugged in vs. worrying about constantly recharging or changing actual batteries (a search of several similar items revealed several complaints about this issues). YMMV of course but this is just what I was looking for...

After about 5 months it stopped working. It did not easily swivel like others I have owned.

Installs easily. 3 different light settings that are adjustable brightness. The only thing I would change is putting a light on the magnification side.

The lighted mirror is easy to view and I like that it has a memory for the last setting used especially because I rarely change the settings. You CANNOT turn it off from the mirror itself, only change settings. Turning it on seems like a two-step process: First you turn it on at the base that is installed on the wall, then you touch the mirror itself. Everytime I turn it off, I also toggle that switch to the “on” position so that it will be ready for me to touch the mirror for turning it on. It does not freely rotate all the way around horizontally. It can spin all the way around in the vertical direction but that is a bit stiff. I almost decided to return it, but felt that it was just too much of a hassle to remove from the wall.

When it worked it was great. I purchased it in December and bulb blew out in May.
