Good value for the price
I bought this to replace the Otterbox case I had on my Note 9 since it was new. It lasted through 4+ years of heavy use before breaking apart. Since I'm probably going to replace my phone within the next 6-8 months, I wanted a cost-effective way of keeping my phone safe for the duration. I didn't want to spend $30 or more on a new Otterbox, and let's face it, those types of cases are heavy and clunky.Enter this new Spigen case. It popped right on and fits like a glove. The buttons feel amazing. The access to the s-pen and fingerprint reader are excellent. It is much slimmer than the old case and feels great in my hand. It fits easily into a jacket pocket too. The "carbon fiber" detailing on the top and bottom is a nice visual touch. Even though it is much trimmer than my previous case, it still feels like it would keep the phone safe from all but the big drops. The only downside is that the texturing on the back is a little light and sometimes feels slick. Otherwise, this case is a win-win for me, with excellent execution and a nice price.

Incredibly functional but regret the matte black
I love the quality precision and incredibly functional design. All input/output points is perfectly sized, headjack, c-charger, stylus, fingerprint reader, etc. Case is thin enough for qi charging, feels durable and has better grip. However, the matte black texture is strange. The case does not feel cheap but not luxurious either.I am keeping the case since I seriously need one, and ability to qi charge through the thin case makes it a lot more convenient. Next time though, something with color.Update 3/17/23 Yes, it's easier to grip.

Firm hold will avoid dropping.
Great look, fits well, but 🤏🏼 slippery. Case is protective.

Great minimal case.
I don't always run a case on my devices, but when I do I usually end up with one from Spigen. They are comfortable, look good, and aren't as expensive as some cases.I like the thinner cases. I don't want a lot of bulk in my hand or in my pocket when I'm not using my device. This case gives my Note 9 just enough thickness to be comfortable in my hand. The texture is nice. I had an identical case from Spigen on my Note 8 and I really like the feel of this one more. The buttons are easy to find, and the Bixby button has texture on it so you know when you are going to press it. It's easy to put on and remove if needed. The cut outs for the various parts of the phone are exact. They are nice and rounded so as not to be sharp in your hand.If these are the kind of qualities you are looking for in a case, this one is for you. I'd buy another in an instant.

Excellent fit and feel. Excellent looks.
I am very easy on my phones, so don't usually have to worry about drops or significant wear and tear. I only want a case that fits well on the phone, doesn't add a lot of bulk, looks good, and protects it from minor dings and scratches that might otherwise reduce the trade-in value of the phone when I decide to upgrade. This case meets all of those expectations quite well.It is snug on the phone, and does not add much to the size of the phone. There are no gaps around the screen, the opening for the rear camera and fingerprint reader seems to be flush on the back of the phone, and the openings for the various plugs (charger, headphones, s-pen) are sized well and don't have a lot of 'play' in the dividers. In addition, the access to all those items does not seem to be impaired in any way. I have no trouble plugging anything in or retrieving the s-pen with the case on.The feel of the case makes it much easier to pick up the phone off a flat surface, making it much less likely that you won't get a good grip and have the phone slip out of your hands onto the hard floor! Not only is the surface slightly textured (very slightly, but noticeable), but the sides have a slight angled edge that gives you an additional grip. All in all, it feels very nice and secure in your hand, which is good for $1000 phone. The buttons are raised slightly, making them easy to locate by touch, and provide excellent response when pressing. It doesn't take any more pressure than pressing the buttons on the bare phone, which is a nice change from some of the cases I've used. Also, the Bixby button is textured differently than the others so you can easily tell which button you never want to press. The sides are low enough that you can still see and access the entirety of the screen. It does not interfere with the installation of a curved tempered-glass screen protector. There is a raised lip at the top and bottom of the screen, ensuring that the screen will not get scratched by placing it face down on a flat surface. Of course, it won't protect the screen from drops onto uneven surface or table edges. It's not designed for that. My recommendation would be to invest in a good tempered-glass screen protector as I have done. With this case and the screen protector, I'm confident my phone will look like it just came out of the box when I decide to trade it in a couple years from now.Overall this seems like a very well-designed and well-made case that looks very good while providing excellent protection for the phone.

A perfect case!
Wow, I never thought I'd get this excited about a phone case. But this, imho, deserves it. First, the fit is *perfect*. When I hold the phone, it feels like the case is a part of the phone - the phone has no room to wiggle. It also exposes just enough of the Note screen, while at the same time providing it ample protection from drops. Second, regarding the feel - at first I wasn't sure about the "grittyness" of the case, but after using it for a while I love the feel of it. It feels very secure in my hands and when sitting on my leg - rough enough that it holds on surfaces, smooth enough to feel good in the hand. The only extremely minor gripe I have is that the pen is slightly harder to remove than without the case, but I don't think that can be avoided. It's still definitely easily accessible. In short - Buy this case!
