It's okay for a beginner. It doesn't have proportional steering so it's all or nothing on the turns which isn't ideal for a drifter.

Was a great present

Car was pretty quick and nimble. A lot of fun for the first 10 minutes of fairly light use, with no sign of the battery losing charge. The main problem is that the motor's pinion gear sheered a tooth, so now it grinds, and is only a matter of time (if I continue to use it) before the one next to it sheers and will render it inoperable.

Great for my son. They're inexpensive cars, but work fine and are a lot of fun. Noisy, in case that's an issue. Good to learn on something like this before going down the rabbit hole lined with hundred dollar bills

Product is missing the charging USB cord. Without this the child or parent cannot charge the toy and it can no longer be played with. My son cried on Christmas because it will now have to be sent back or hopefully the USB charger sent to us as it is a special charger.
