Metro 3 Baby Stroller for Newborns, Infants, and Toddlers - Travel Stroller with One-Hand Fold, Near-Flat Recline, Adjustable Handlebar - Soft Olive

I purchased this stroller to use as our compact travel stroller. My main criteria were compact fold down size, ease of folding down and opening, and decent suspension/ Wheels for a smooth push. Overall, I am very pleased with the Metro 3! It is a fairly nice and compact size- I mean it's not nothing, but compared to other strollers it's very reasonable and fits nicely in the car. It is super easy to fold up and you can definitely fold it up with one hand. Opening is a bit more tricky, as other people have commented I do think opening requires two hands. Thus far the wheels seem good, I haven't had it long enough to test their durability long-term, but it's very comfortable and fairly smooth to push. The storage underneath is not giant but is adequate for my needs. It seems fairly comfortable for my baby, decent padding, and I find the straps really easy to use. I did realize after purchase that my baby is at an age where having the ability to parent face is ideal in crowded situations, but there pretty much is not a compact stroller on the market that allows this option!

I bought this stroller because I needed something compact to stay in my car and to take on errands. I was using an Uppababy Cruz originally but I got so tired of lugging that thing in and out of my car. I was initially concerned that a compact/ travel stroller wouldn't be comfortable and the quality would be subpar. I've been thoroughly impressed with the Ergobaby Metro 3! The value is there - it is comfortable, feels sturdy, handles smooth and the fold/unfold is extremely easy. I initially got the Metro + Deluxe because of the savings offered once the Metro 3 came out - but I was unhappy with the quality and handling, that I splurged and spent the extra money on the Metro 3.

Compact and light. Smooth ride -only tried on smooth surfaces so far. Super easy to fold one handed but a little harder to unfold.

Love love love!!!! I was between two strollers the Uppa baby minu 3 and this for our upcoming 6 week trip to Spain. We will be living our day to day there so I didn’t want a Cybex or Gp pocket which could have been good for my tall daughter. Also traveling alone with 2 kids didn’t want to deal with the way those strollers folded. In the end I couldn’t justify spending $549 on a stroller so I went with the Ergobaby Metro 3. It was still a lot more than I wanted to spend on a stroller in general but just what had to be done for what I was looking for. I needed something that had a tall back so my 3 year old who is 42 inches tall could get it in sometimes if tired while my 1 year old is in the carrier. Needed something that sat a bit more upright. My son likes to sit upright in our other strollers but they aren’t so he leans forward. Has a big enough basket for our supermarket runs, all the things we need for the park including stuffing a scooter under, blankets, balls, water bottles, etc…Summer in Spain is also brutal. Hot sun! Large extended canopy is a plus! When I got the stroller I didn’t really like the tiny strap on the seat to hold the stroller. It looks like over time it could become too worn or break from the load. The shoulder strap on the Uppababy almost made me lean in their direction. Anyways I bought a scooter strap(Wildken Rhinowal $17.99) and while the stroller itself has a bulkier fold it’s now as good as the Uppa and way less money even with the purchase of the strap. Once set up the strap isn’t really in the way at all. Definitely carrying on the shoulder makes the stroller feel lighter and frees up your hand! For all you parents who have a tall toddler this stroller is great. My daughter’s legs don’t look awkward at all in the stroller. The foot rest is nice and wide. Ergonomically seems like a very comfortable stroller for both my son and my daughter. The quality of the material has a premium feel to it as well. The near flat recline is a plus. I don’t really care about this feature. We have survived without it no problem. Overall stroller is a great investment. I can continue to use for a few more years with my toddler and if I have another baby. Also for these infamous Disney trip stroller requirements people keep talking about when we go to Disney in the future. I’m super satisfied. My only cons: The bar in the back where the basket is. Could prevent larger bags from easily going under the bar. But you could put bags in from the front with the foot rest up. Bulkier- A bit concerned they won’t let me try to put in the overhead bin taking one look at it. It looks a bit bulkier in person side by side with a carry on suitcase. The carry handle in the seat. The one handed fold and open took a bit to get used to. More so the opening and getting it to really pop out and stay. It was sticking at first and not fully extending into the locked position. That has since resolved though as you can see in the video.

This stroller has so many things to love about it newborn ready recline, great canopy and ventilation. The materials feel soft and premium. However I have noticed a few significant issues since owning the stroller. The first is that the unfold is not smooth - it sticks and makes a loud clicking sound. It's not just difficult to do with one hand but with two also. Also while the stroller pushes nicely, at time it feels unstable and tippy because the back wheels are set very narrow. One additional issue is that while the seat is deep and sits nice and upright, the sides of the seat are very shallow. Because of this when my baby is sitting upright at times feels like he might start hanging out of the stroller and cause it to tip. Overall, I think the stroller has a lot to offer, but especially at the increased price point some of these items should be fixed. We looked into many travel strollers and even at high price points they all have cons, so it just a matter of what is most important to you.

Loved this Stroller, the only problem I have is that it doesn't unfold as easily they advertise. You'll need to learn how to do it. I like that it folds really small, and I have taken this stroller in flights and road trips, so far it has held its shape, traveling with it has made my experience more manageable as I mom with a big baby!. I would say is a bit expensive for what it is, but totally worth it.

I did so much research on travel strollers. As a mom of 3, I’ve used A LOT of different strollers. Joggers, singles, doubles, umbrella, wagons, etc. I needed something easy to take on trips but that still pushed like a stroller without catching on bumps and cracks. This thing took to the grass like a full size stroller! It’s a one hand push and one hand fold. My baby loved it because there’s nothing blocking the view on the side. The fold is easy… unfolding takes some learning. It’s not feather light but I’m weak and can easily lift with one hand. The sunshade is awesome and the ventilation is great for hot days. I would absolutely purchase this again.

I loveeeee this stroller, i traveled with it 4 times and had no issues. I took it to cabin and was able to easily store it. Very good quality and very comfy for my baby. A great purchase

Purchased this stroller for airplane travel after doing extensive research. It has a lot of great qualities that makes travel easier with a little one. Pros: - Can be used for newborns - Recline feature is amazing - little one sleeps well - Seats is well-padded and comfortable - Sunshade is super functional and extends far - Wheels are high quality - Basket is big enough for my camera backpack - Magnetic sunshade peephole is a plus! Cons: - Doesn't exactly open with just one hand because of the way the stroller unfolds

Amazing for travel! We used this for our one year old. We took it to the airport and on a resort and it was perfect! Very quick to fold up and out with one hand especially when getting onto a flight or putting into car. Worked great for on the go naps as it reclines all the way back. The extended canopy was also great to have more coverage as we were in the sun. Storage portion was a good size too for a travel stroller.

Great stroller! Been taking it everywhere for vacations and baby loves it!
