I ordered from the first filter shipment in country it finally arrived. I like the smaller internal volume to use with smaller compressors such as a CS4-I. It gets to pressure in a timely manner with these smaller portable compressors. The Pressure Maintaining Valve (PMV) is described as opening at 2000 PSI. I am seeing an opening at output of filter slightly lower…but am I seeing a pressure drop as the PMV opens and fills line to tank? It would be nice to know a tolerance on valve setting. If it is plus or minus 10% then its fine. Is it adjustable by user?Improvements??I would like to see magnetic mounts that were attached to pressure vessel by cushioned clamp on straps and no drilled tapped blind holes in pressure vessel walls. I added a one-way check valve to input from compressor to the filter. I used a one-way Foster check valve. (see pictures). This allows 1. Bleeding the CS4-I water trap without losing pressure in filter housing. Can purge with compressor running. 2. Isolates CS4-I during a restart or after a water trap purge from filter pressure. I also use a check valve to protect compressor when filling large carbon fiber Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) tanks. No guessing when to open tank valve as compressor output line pressure exceeds SCBA tank pressure.Would I recommend this filter so far, a definite yes. I voted for this item with my money. This is a high quality pcp air filter & water separator! I have been searching for a high quality, well designed water separator air filter for my very expensive pcp airguns and based upon the YouTube video review, i bought this one. One major design difference from other filters is this one collects that last 5% of moisture escaping your compressor which is then removed via a bleed screw after each use and therefore, eliminating any moisture into your favorite pcp airgun…SWEET! It is robust, works very well and the included magnets makes it super easy to mount to my compressor without drilling holes! It uses a cartridge, charcoal & double felt filter which is easy to change, and i also received same-day email response from the manufacturer so it appears that there is great product support! Very durable great quality filter/ water separator for GX, they’re known for for their PCP high pressure compressors for PCP Airguns and paintball guns and this filter is to keep any moisture out of your air tanks , scuba tanks or anything with high pressure up to 4500 psi, comes with magnets that screw into the filter to attach to your compressor, after filling you release the bottom valve to remove any water that has settled, it starts to let air into your source once it reaches 2000 psi, extremely great solid quality and great price, highly recommended for anyone that shoots pcp Airguns and fills them with a compressor and can also use with large scuba type tanks

The media could not be loaded. I have filled my Rattler 357 4 times now and it seems to work well. My concern though is what is the actual life expectancy of the filters? and No information on the GX site regarding recommendations for when to change filters. Plus, no links to order replacement filters. Also on my CS1 the magnets don't prevent it from migrating or moving out of vertical position.

This has to be the best filter you can get in this price range. It has features that a $400 filter has, i.e. a pressure valve that doesn't open till around 2000 psi. which enhances oil/water filtration efficiency through the molecular sieve. Water is collected at the bottom of the filter housing away from the filter cartridge which can be drained through the drain valve. The magnetic mount is another nice feature. The packaging is first rate. This is a high-quality PCP air compressor filter, not junk. I highly recommend it.

Works great, comes with a fill whip and the threads fit my cs2.The magnets hold it firmly in place and it doesn't move around when the compressor is running.

This thing is solid and is rated for 5800PSI. Since my PCP pistal uses 5000PSI, I needed something that was safe at these pressures. If you are looking for the same, look no further.

I'm very happy with the product. It's build like a tank, so in know it's going to last a life time.
