Skull Shaver - Pitbull Silver PRO SX5 Head and face Shaver

Hands down the best head shaver available at price point. I have had the Scull Shaver Silver for a few months and I am continually impressed with how well it works. It provides clean smooth shaves with minimal maintenance and cleaning. I prefer to use shave cream as it seems to add to the comfort and performance. I have gone up to 5 days between shaves and it performs perfectly. I would recommend purchasing the holder base for between use storage. Additionally the unit lasts multiple shaves on a single charge with plenty of run time and warning when charging is needed. A great unit!

This is the 3rd head shaver I have owned, all from different brands. This one is by far the best out of the 3. I was surprised because out of the box nothing really seems “special” about it. It almost feels a little delicate. Oh but when you start cutting with it, everything changes. It glides through the hair effortlessly and leaves a very clean cut. It also is way less irritating on my skin than my other shavers. This was more expensive than my other shavers and I was very skeptical because of that. I now am very curious what I could be missing out on by not upgrading to the REALLY expensive version’s they have. Either way, this is a great little shaver. I used it every 24-48 hours and it has done great. Highly recommend.

I'll start with the major flaw - The charging port has a rubber cover that is required to keep the shaver "waterproof"; however, the cover isn't attached to the shaver with a tether or leash so you have to keep it somewhere close or cover the charging port with a finger while cleaning the shaver. I've purchased much cheaper items like a waterproof bluetooth speaker that has a charging port cover with a tether so it never gets lost... seems like a strange oversight. And they don't appear to have corrected this with the Gold or other premium models. Another item of note is that this shaver really NEEDS a stand. Be prepared to purchase a stand separately for anywhere from $8 - $25. Here's why - The shaver doesn't really get clean from running the parts underwater. You need to place the shaver, in a stand, with the "shaving" parts underwater and leave it running for a few minutes to get it "deep cleaned" as they indicate in the instructions. Now, the good stuff: * The battery appears to be solid. I spend about 3 minutes shaving my head every morning, then I leave the shaver running for another 2-ish minutes (in the stand underwater, please read above) for 6 days a week. This means that I've run the shaver for ~30 minutes/wk for 3 weeks and I still have 2 lights out of 3 for the "battery meter" on the shaver. Not too shabby, and better than what they say in their spec (~60 minutes of runtime). * The shave is excellent. I've used blade razors, other "baldie" clippers, and one 9-blade knock-off on Amazon. The only thing better was the blade shave, but what a mess! This gets as close to "bald" as you can get without a blade. Not sure what the differences are between the Silver and Gold models, but there are some good video reviews on those that may clarify things. Bear in mind that the Gold model goes on sale frequently for around $80 (usually ~ $100), so you can get the "upgrade" for only $20 if you use tools like Camel Camel Camel or other price trackers. I’ve been using this item for nearly a year, and I’ll definitely buy another when this one wears out. I shave my head every other day and use it on my face around my goatee, and it delivers a very close, comfortable shave. It’s incredibly easy to use, even with my severely arthritic hands. I use it both dry and in the shower, and it’s truly waterproof. It fits my hand perfectly, and I often find myself holding it between my fingers rather than gripping the base. It has also significantly reduced the amount of time I spend shaving or cutting my hair each week.

You have to be realistic about how much hair can be shaved off by the Pitbull Pro Silver Head Shaver. No rotary head shaver will completely get rid of all the stubble or sandpaper feel on your head. However the Pttbull does an excellent job of giving you that clean look. Unless you want to go to a barber or usie a razor for a no stubble or sandpaper feel this is an excellent product.

So far so good! My husband is a hairy man. His arm hair grows straight into his back hair. We don’t mind his chest being hairy, but I prefer to not be married to Chewbacca! We went with the lower model because we didn't feel the need to go for the more expensive one since it was for his body, not a bald head. Pros: we’ve used it twice so far and it has done a great job. I used to straight razor his back, yeah you read that right…straight razor. If it that close, no. You feel very very little stubble bits but it’s way smoother than just a beard trimmer. Charging: we didn’t charge it between the two uses and it survived. My husband also has a lot of real estate back there being a big man (benches 500 and military presses 385 I think he said) so his back is thick and wide and shoulders are big. We used it for his back, upper arms above his elbows, and shoulders. It didn’t slow down either. Blades: we aren’t sure about this yet. We’ve only used it twice so haven’t had to replace or see how it works when it starts to go dull. Size: I did it for my husband. I do have larger hands for a girl (I can palm a guys basketball) but this isn’t hard to use or too big for even me. In the videos it shows them holding it right above the blades, below the large black box. I actually held the black box and felt that more comfortable. Cons: none yet so far. It does what it says. Charging and use, was easy.

100% satisfied with this shaver! I’ve tried many brands of electric shavers and always had skin irritation and would always end up back to using straight razors. The versatility of being wet shave capable is awesome, makes an easy glide. The blades do not cut skin but do leave a close shave. Best purchase in 2026!

Premetto che sono diversi anni che mi raso e che ho provato diversi prodotti, approdando da qualche anno a quelli specifici per la testa. Ho iniziato con il classico cinese economico, un incubo a livello di pulizia (7 lame, da aprire una alla volta..) e con risultati scadenti. Ho proseguito per un anno con un Remington XR1501. Buon prodotto, sicuramente superiore al cinese ma che, per un buon risultato, avevo integrato con un rasoio Philips OneBlade per la zona sopra le orecchie e la nuca. Attratto da questo Pitbull da un prezzo più basso del solito (poco meno di 80 euro) ho voluto provarlo e, dopo quasi un mese di utilizzo quotidiano, ne sono super soddisfatto. Confrontandolo con il Remington (il cui costo è mediamente 10-20 euro inferiore): - le lame tagliano molto di più, il Remington già dopo pochi giorni avevo perso la velocità di taglio dei primi 2 o 3gg. Il Pitbull al momento non ha perso nulla. Di conseguenza ci metto molto meno tempo. - la durata della batteria è tutta a favore del Pitbull, mediamente mi raso per 8-10gg prima di ricaricarlo, con il Remington massimo 3 tagli e si accendeva la spia. La versione gold (che non ho provato) indica una durata ancora superiore, ma al momento non ne sento la necessità - l'ergonomia , con la caratteristi impugnatura Pitbull è assolutamente migliore. La forma delle lame (unite alla qualità) mi permette di aver abbandonato completamente il rasoio OneBlade, vista l'ottima rasatura anche nei punti più complicati. - la pulizia del prodotto è molto semplice su entrambi. Il pitbull però permette (non ancora provato direttamente ma visto in diversi video) di rimuovere completamente senza troppe difficoltà tutto il blocco ingranaggi dalle lame per una pulizia profonda. Il Remington invece ha dei fermi in plastica da rimuove per togliere le lame, ma a vista sembrano troppo fragili e diventa secondo me rischioso procedere così - A livello costruttivo il Remington sembra più solido, a scapito di un peso leggermente superiore. Il pitbull mi pare costruito con plastiche di qualità leggermente inferiori ma a suo vantaggio è molto leggero. Al momento non segnalo nessun problema da questo punto di vista Per cui non posso che consigliare questo rasoio a chi cerca un prodotto compatto, leggero e con una qualità di rasatura molto elevata.

Nice bit of kit . I used it with shaving foam and was able to enjoy a close shave . Rinsed it in water as per the instructions and found that all debris was removed. Early days but very happy with the investment.
