This is great quality granulated garlic. The flavor is strong and delicious, the smell is the beautiful pungency you'd expect from garlic, it isn't clumpy, it doesn't have a bad/suspicious odor to it, the texture is great, the size of the container is fantastic, and the lid works great (in that it snaps shut, stays on, and hasn't broken from repeated use). In terms of freshness, it's a great alternative to raw/fresh garlic glove/mince. I've used this in soups, on meats, grilling, marinades, all of the regular things you'd use garlic for, and it hasn't let me down yet. Mine also came nicely packaged and had a seal on it, which I loved. This is a great quality product. This brand (Spice Classics) is owned by McCormick, and they're not really known for disappointing people with their quality. That being said: this garlic is sourced from China and there's no specifications as to whether this one is GMO or non-GMO. If either of those things bothers you, I'd recommend reaching out to McCormick, or to keep looking for other dry garlic alternatives.

Not powdery or too fine. Great to use while cooking or adding flavor to a bland frozen dish. Huge, but doesn’t last in my house.

Very good flavor garlic powder and in bulk, it's cheaper (and better tasting) than the little bottles at Walmart of Aldi. I use it in almost everything I cook. Just a note - - if you're looking to keep vampires away -- that's the flower of the garlic plant, not the bulbs of garlic or their dried and ground up powder, so if it's not cooking you want, but protection from Nosferatu, you'll want to plant some actual garlic. It is possible garlic breath might keep away vampires, but then, it keeps away almost anyone who doesn't have garlic breath, themselves (if both of you have it, neither will smell it). I don't know if this powder gives you garlic breath... but I'm sure it's nothing brushing your teeth and some breath freshening gum, Tic Tacs, or a Certs wouldn't fix and worth it in food that tastes great. Share your meals and you won't have to worry about it.

It's garlic powder. Nice taste. Not that complicated. Don't worry about the slightly larger granules. The garlic dissolves easily, and the taste is superior to most store bought brands.
