Better print quality on the Ender 3
So this glass is 235mm x 235mm of perfectly flat printing surface; fits the Ender 3 perfectly and I get much better prints with a perfect first layer once everything is dialed in and crammed tight. Less warping too, as thick volume prints, even those with 100% infill, usually stick very well to the bed, and resists curling away due to the great adhesion. I also require less heat and smaller applications of glue stick to get prints to stay fixed to the bed, so this works in favor of avoiding warping due to the thermodynamics of cooling filament. Before I was needing to keep the bed at around 65c to get prints to stick to the bed, and now I only need 55c with pla filament; saves on that energy bill over time as a happy bonus. With the stock Ender 3 black mat print surface I was having massive issues with the prints popping off at about 75mm to 100mm. This glass be is a must if you're having nothing but problems with that first layer of every print. Before, I had one print come off the bed after about 12 hours into the print, and because I was out of the house for a few hours during that time it became permanently welded to the nozzle and hotend, so that had to be replaced. I was told by a YouTuber that covers 3D printing on his channel that it wasn't a good investment getting a glass bed for the Ender 3, but he was definitely mistaken, despite him being generally knowledgeable and helpful. This glass bed has drastically increased the quality and the varieties of prints I'm able to do now with this simple upgrade. I've already printed out some large prints and that polished bottom layer is a thing of beauty after all the fuss of dealing with the stock black mat. For me, prints would have constant issues with warping and popping off the bed. The undercarriage isn't perfectly flat and square on my Ender 3, with a dip in the middle, so that seems to lend itself to leveling issues and warping. This glass bed fixed all that because it's perfectly flat and very smooth.

Wow! 3D Prints turn out great! Great Adhesion!
I replaced the inferior magnetic mat that came with my Ender 3 Pro and this produces great prints first time, every time. Great adhesion. Make sure to keep finger prints off glass because the will cause adhesion issues! I clean my glass bed with a mixture of 50% distilled water + ~91% isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle and small squirt and wipe clean and dry with paper towel or microfiber cloth. This will guarantee consistently good prints every time. Having a bed leveling kit such as EZABLE will help make the most out of your printing experience. I found no need to use any additional adhesion techniques such as hairspray or glue-stick, just keep the glass clean of oil (yes, fingerprints). The glass was cut exactly to size, beveled and smooth corners and I placed it directly on heated bed without the OEM magnetic mat which is junk, argh, inferior and causes headaches getting a good print even with bed level kit.I am so glad these guys sell this product! Make more, I am sending people your way!

Works exactly as intended
I bought this glass bed for my Ender 3, hoping to have an easier time with my prints. It works exactly as I'd hoped it would. Bed adhesion has been much improved since I installed the bed. I've also had far fewer prints fail on the first layers since installing this. Lastly, prints have been much easier to remove once they are complete. Prints even have a nice sheen on the bottom, as if to say 'Just look how flat this bed is!' Overall, I'd say that this is an absolutely necessary upgrade for anyone using an Ender 3.Now, it does require you to make a few adjustments, namely, moving the Z-Stop on your Ender 3 up a bit (as the glass is thicker than the original printing surface plate, and using larger (by one size) binder clips to hold the glass bed in place, but these are very minor adjustments that I was more than willing to make for the increased usability of my printer. They aren't difficult adjustments to make, and you'll be up and running in no time. I highly recommend this glass bed.

Works great for a while and then starts to chip
*** Update***Gulfcoast Robotics must have read this and wanted to make things right. To my surprise I received a new glass plate today. I certainly appreciate the gesture. I will add 2 stars for excellent customer service and try this product again. I will give another update in a couple of months.**********At first, this worked great. My prints stuck well with a bit of hairspray. However, after many uses, the glass is starting to chip around the center. I have pulled prints iff that have glass divots in them. I need to replace the glass bed but I am very apprehensive about getting another one like this. I will be looking for alternatives. I usually keep my print bed at 70c, so I do not believe it is being exposed to excessive heat.

Perfection!
Purchased this close to a year ago, and still going strong. This glass is thick and holds up to all kinds of printing abuse, including using blades to scrap finished work off. I'm using on my Ender 3 Pro, adjusted for the level of the glass. Holding it down with silicon thermal pads rather than those annoying clips all over the sides. A bit of hairspray and prints ALWAYS come out perfect (as long as your bed is level of course). The BuildTak-Like magnetic surface is nonsense. After a week, nothing was sticking to that joke of a surface, and the bottom of my prints all had that slight texture, where as a glass finish is smooth/shiny.

Works great.
I love this thing. I had to make some slight adjustments to get it to fit but it's well worth it. I saw people complaining that they pull chunks of glass when pulling finished prints but I found that if you just wait a couple minutes for it to cool, the prints just slide right off. My only complaint is the need for hairspray for adhesion. Just need to find a brand that doesn't smell horrid. All in all, this glass bed has made for much cleaner prints.
